The most fabulous place I have ever been, I would say it is more beautiful then blue mountains and it is indeed 360 degree view.

Breathtaking views of Tasman sea and Port Stephens. Great trek up to the summit worth a climb.

Spectacular 360 degrees view of the whole Nelson Bay, worth the climb. Note: there's no public toilet around the whole Mt Tomaree and not many parking spaces, roughly only around 10 spots.

One of the best places to visit around Nelson Bay. This should be your No 1 sight seeing spot. Sweeping 180 degree views of the ocean with hardly any crowds, this is the best kept secret of Nelson Bay.

Make sure you are able to climb a steep hike, which you can do in 30-45 mins. It is not too bad if you are a regular walker. You will see plenty of locals doing their daily routine of trekking up to the point and coming back. Loved it.

Tough walk and stair climb if you are not reasonably cardio fit (there are rest benches every 100 metres or so), but oh so worth it once you get to the top. The view is absolutely spectacular, and depending on the time of the year, you may also see whales or dolphins swimming around. Take a camera with a wide lens, or do a panorama with multiple shots.

Love walking this track each time I visit. takes about 15 minutes of steep walking up. allow 45 minutes return and you will have time to take pics and rest at the top loads of great spots to take your pictures on the way.

Stunning 360 view of the ocean, nelsons bay and coastal beaches. The walk up is medium climb, take plenty of water, can get humid. At the stop SPIDER WEBS everywhere. These are harmless to humans tho. So if afraid of spiders give this a miss but the views are amazing so go and see..

This is a moderate level walk. Has lovely bush through the whole walk. Snakes up the hill nicely, suitable for any level walker. If you're a slow walker allow 50 minutes so you can also rest, if you're confident you can work hard and smash this out in 20 minutes. 35 for most.
Good parking at the bottom, if you go up the little ramp.
View from the top is expansive

Spectacular! The view at the top is partially obscured by trees but the way up there are many great photo ops. The metal stairways are very narrow so on a busy day there is a fair amount of waiting for people to go up or come down. Definitely will be doing this again.
