Last week we ad a fantastic evening, group of 12, sunset, music, BBQ. We catch only 3 big Snapa.
But every one ad a great time. Very contactable boat with toilet.
great fun, got plenty of whiting and so other dude hooked a massive salmon.
Had to make the effort to sign in and post here. do not waste your money on these guys. Rude staff. They literally tell you not to touch the rods, its ridiculous. Move along to the next company or hire your own.im still pissed off and its been like 8months.
Those are the worse people that I have ever been dealt with. They are very rude and helpless. I dont recommend anyone to go fishing with them. We have had really a bad experience with one of their Charters. They took us to place where could find any fish and when we asked them, they dont respond to us. They tend to ignore the customers as they already get money in advance. They will not pay much attention to the customers. This is my experience and want to advise you guys.
Wow what an experience! First time fishing and I caught a 7.2kg snapper out near Sandringham beach.. in addition to the abundant supply of beverages and cooked meats, the skipper of the boat is a humorous gentleman who obviously enjoys what he does and helped out everyone to catch something. This is a fishing trip you won't want to miss, I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys great company, great food and great fish!
I would call this a great 'watching charter' but a terrible fishing charter. From the outset the deckie instructed that we were fishing unweighted pillies for snapper, so he would be the only person casting. This was fair enough. So he threw about 8 lines out the back. All good so far. Then it came to the weighted droppers. He also decided he would bait and manage these lines. When bites were obvious, we were yelled at not to touch the lines. So 7 paying customers got to watch the captain and deck hand fish for 4 hours. No snapper, but when a bycatch was on a line, they didnt even hand that over for a PAYING CUSTOMER to reel in. I have NEVER seen such an appalling display. Do not waste your money!
Paul was a great captain however my experience was marred by a less than accomodating and uninterested deckhand - Glen. Did not willingly offer help like other deck hands on other charters. Just spent time looking miserable and smoking, taking his time getting us bait and unhooking fish. Even fish that were legal size he'd throw back in. Was he on drugs? We're on a charter trying to catch fish.
I have been on numerous charters, I.e ace fishing charters (5 stars), bay fish n trips (5 stars), western port charters (3 stars) and to compare this charter was by far the cleanest and had the best facilities. The BBQ was deluxe with lots of food. Again Paul was amazing but I just wish he had a better deck hand, then maybe I'd consider coming back. 2/5
I took my father out for the first twilight trip, he had an absolute ball. We knew that it would be more about the experience rather than catching fish as it's only the start of the season. However, we did get some bites and had a lot of fun. The staff were always there to help put the fish back in the water.
The captain, Paul, was very helpful and friendly. He obviously loves his job. The deckhand was also extremely knowledgable and helpful when explaining the area, fishing, baiting etc.
Drinks were reasonably priced and the bbq was a good snag sizzle. Met some new friends, enjoyed the sun and welcomed in daylight savings.
Thank you for a great day!
