Great service nice blokes
Just been back to Smash Master Geelong for the third time in last couple of years. Got to say again, Paul was fantastic and once again did a great job. These guys are with doubt the best. wouldn't go any where else. Good work as always guys!
Friendly service and great value.
So happy with the quality of repair of my car & grateful for the free loan car. Thank you being so helpful & keeping me up to date with the process.
From the moment I had the accident to the day I picked up my fully repaired car I was impressed with the service, efficiency and professionalism of Dave and the team at Smashmasters.
They gave me a late model replacement vehicle, kept me informed as to the progress of the repairs and even helped me with my excess.
Thanks again guys. You made an unfortunate situation so much easier to deal with.
Thanks to your Geelong team for such a wonderful
repair and for the lovely loan car, we needed the car!
Thanks to the repair team for doing such a great job, I didn't think this work was possible, it's amazing thank you so much!
Very unprofessional team, David and his team are big lier. last week their truck driver towed my car to their garage, on the way fell down from his truck because of his bad driving. very pathetic, I am so disappointed with their service. ( I have just realized that the positive feed back below are all fake. David does it himself and then in response thanks himself, so funny.
The most unprofessional experience I've ever had. I was told they'd have my car for 4-5 working days. After a week I called, only to find they were still waiting on parts. The job took them 2 and a half weeks. Upon getting my car home I had a good look over it, only to find the front flare had not been fixed as I had clearly requested, so I planned to return the car the following day. In the meantime, one of my roof racks that they had removed and re-installed, flew off while traveling at 80kmp/h during the night. Luckily there were no cars behind me, could well have been a serious accident. I had to travel back to site in daylight to find the pieces. I then took the car back to get the flare fixed. The guy gave it a shake and said it seems to be fine. With slight force I pulled it away from the vehicle to prove that no, it is not fine. I proceeded to inform him of the roof rack mishap so something like that doesn't happen again (very dangerous). Returned an hour later only to find they had decided to remove the 2nd roof rack to leave it up to me to refit in order to save themselves (probably better that way I guess as I could at least install them securely). A couple of days later, I noticed my auxiliary battery was getting way too many volts. Pulled the fuse to prevent damage only to find that my original 30A fuse had been replaced with a 70A fuse. Upon further inspection, I realised they had removed the auxiliary battery, a wire came loose, they guessed where that wire came from and re-connected it. They guessed wrongly which effectively wired my battery up to be charged at Calcium volts rather than AGM volts. Considering they had replaced my 30A fuse with a 70A fuse this could have made for very real potential of my car burning to the ground due to battery explosion. No one should be stupid enough to A) make a guess as to where a wire should be connected and B) replace a blown fuse with one double its capacity (the original fuse blew because you stuffed up the connection)!! To this day, I still have a small clip on panel that comes loose on even the smoothest of roads. Smash Masters are 100% incompetent and I would strongly advise you not to take the chance.
A big thanks to the David and the crew at Smash Masters Geelong.
About a month ago I poped into Smash Masters, Fyans St, about my project car, to have rear bumper fitted and customized. I was greeted by David and he was fantastic from our first meeting. I showed him my car and the work I wanted done and he said no worries and quoted me and I agreed to have the work done. I left there feeling very happy and extremely impressed by David's attitude and professionalism. I have picked up the car today and it's sensational! They did an incredible job and the car looks amazing. And, it was returned, immaculately clean inside and out.
Sensational Guys, you'll see me again if needed, keep up the good work!
Many Thx,
Roger:)
I booked my car in 3 weeks prior to the drop in date to allow for parts etc to be ordered.
I called the day before I dropped it in to confirm that all of the parts were there and waiting and I was told yes and it will take 3 to 4 working days to complete this job.
A week and a half later I called them (no updates from them as yet) to find out whats going on and they said later that week it will be done.
I call again the following week, now heading into 3rd week and still not ready they said they were waiting on a door (the only one being fixed mind you) so that's nearly 6 weeks from the booking date.
I finally pick the car up 3 weeks after I dropped it in and the battery struggles to turn over, the next day its dead after sitting there for 3 weeks.
I have to get the RACV out, which in turn makes me late for work which means I had to cancel client appointments and it costs me $120 to replace it as well, it was perfect when I dropped it in started first time every time.
Nice enough people, the standard of work good, service and follow up poor.
