I have been frequenting this bar for 40yrs (yes since I was 19). Even though I live in NZ I always go back to the Shakey when I am in Sydney. They have the best food in Sydney for minimal price. If you don't drink your going to be a winner!! Great atmosphere. I was thee a week ago.

Unique decoration with old culture. No WIFI service. It's certainly noisy and a good place to enjoy bar and the location is good. While if you just wanna a good sleep or traveling for business, completely not advisable.

The Shakespeare Hotel has unique decor, it feels as if one is transported back to the time of hamlet. This adds to the ambiance. The portions of the food is generous and gives good value for money. It is located walking distance from central station. It has a dining section which is slightly quieter than the front section which is better suited for a drink and a laugh. The service is good considering it is not a restaurant. Service is fairly quick. Upstairs there are rooms available.

A pub that has the old world charm of what you'd expect of a pub in Sorry Hills of days gone by. No fancy modern renovacions. Upstairs you can have a meal and be surrounded by artworks that suit this stone of hotel. Prices for means are at affordable prices. Can get busy some nights with people outside on footpath and laneway next door.

Love the hearty meals here, portion sizes are so generous and all reasonably priced. Music is pretty cool here too! It can be hard to find a seat sometimes so best to reserve a spot if you've got a group.

Nice, small pub in Surry Hills. Only about 10mins walk from Central Station. They only have a small beer range on tap, but a few of these were nice craft beers. Dinner was nice and they have some good specials throughout the week.

A good little place. I've only been there once so far. The staff were great. I didn't eat and I didn't order from the bar. Nice atmosphere.

A great place to go get some grub whether you're alone, with someone else or with a group. Plenty of seating downstairs and upstairs, and it's just got a really good, cosy vibe going. The food arrives pretty fast even with a large group order.

Get the chicken Parma if you're hankering for something big and hot, and pick the mash ;) the lamb shank melts in your mouth, though the portion size could be a little larger.

    Massive amount of foods,
    With nice price
    Also decent quality

    Cosy atmosphere!

    I suppose I'd come here often :)

Also, the mystical interior reminds me Hogwarts!
