Good location, historic atmosphere. We loved it
Was a home when I was homeless staff are really great thank you Reid's
No complaints this end
Lot of history here but very dark &cold
It's somewhere warm to sleep
it's cheap cozy and the staff are fantastic
Reid’s Guest House is built on top of the original New York Bakery (which has been recreated in Sovereign Hill). In Ballarat similarly to Edinburgh in Scotland they raised the street level and so there are many buildings which are now underground and have other buildings built over the top of them. If you go through a very narrow alleyway and down some stairs into a completely dark room you can see original ovens.
Convenient
The worst place i have ever stayed at i will never go back there and i suggest that you do the same its very dirty place
Where do I start? This is the worst place I have ever stayed..The place stinks..don't touch the handrails they're discusting..We had holes in the walls..the whole place just is a mess!!!.
The worst thing isaccording to locals.
This place houses down and out people in their community..although sad..you should never mix the 2, when you have families with children.
The saddest thing is this is a heritage listed building and it"s in a sad state of disrepair.
