Nice place to stay for a weekend getaway. The buffet breakfast was nice.

Went to RACV Goldfields for a meeting. Found the staff the be helpful and the facility itself is outstanding.

[[ This review is only for the golf course. I haven't stayed in the resort. ]]
The Novotel Forest Resort Golf Course is one of the most interesting, beautiful and fun courses I've played on in recent years. It's literally carved through quite well established forest on the site of the former Creswick Golf Course. Mostly raised tees overlook valley-like fairways and from the blue tees the course really has to be played with your brain as bunkers and corners are very well placed.
I believe this is an as yet undiscovered gem of Victorian golfing. Absolutely love it!response / report this review -

We stayed in one of the self contained family apartments. The apartment was fantastic and very spacious. The staff, especially the night receptionist was great. Went out of their way to help us and make sure we had everything. We used the hotel facilities. Unfortunately did not have a chance to try the food as we cooked our own in the apartment. I would recommend this place to anyone!

The apartments for APVC members were by far the best of ask the ones we've stayed at so far. Only thing that cost this a five star was that the TV provided was tiny and the TV upstairs was missing. More importantly the spa, which looked awesome (2 of them!) didn't work at all.
