Over 7 years of attending this cute country pub. Always a fun family night out! Fantastic friendly staff, most recent at owners are welcoming and accommodating, especially with our two special needs children. I adore the atmosphere, their zest for customer service and fundraising, warm welcoming feel and oh my goodness, the salad and veggie bar is my favorite.
If we were no blessed to have family to stay with locally, I would not hesitate a second to utilise the accommodation.

Can honestly say that I love this place. The owners and staff are always warm and friendly, and Ive never been disappointed with any meal Ive eaten there - generous serves and always delicious (there's been quite a few of them!). Its a great place to take a friend for a drink or the family for lunch or dinner. It is also one of the few places in Snake Valley that the community can come together in support of each other. And you don't need to be a local to be welcomed and accepted.

Awesome pub with lovely friendly staff and fantastic meals. Have eaten here many times and have absolutely no complaints. My last meal was a Tyson's special Parma which was delicious. Highly recommend!!

I was very disappointed with the prices and the menu. Meals seem very overpriced. Doesn't have that county pub feel I've grown to love either. Such a shame. People must only go there due to limited choices.

Memorable stay for all the right reasons. Friendly welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are clean & very comfortable. Delicous meals & nice wood fire. Would highly recommend staying in this country hotel.

We stayed the night as we needed somewhere economical, comfortable and close enough to sovereign hill. The modest rooms were perfectly comfortable. The beds were firm and had electric blankets. There was a portable heater in the room. The bed linen was clean and simple No ugly, old bed spreads that you get in some small town accommodation. No bad smells, everything was clean enough and the walls looked freshly painted. There were some breakfast basics in a small kitchenette, but no option for a proper breakfast as the hotel doesn't open till midday. It would have been nice to have a room with a table and chairs or small lounge for after hours and breakfast. I didn't shower so can't comment on the shared bathroom. It was too cold, but it was clean. All in all, I was surprised they weren't fully booked by the sovereign hill crowd. It was an easy 25 min drive to Ballarat.

Went with a group of elderly for a week day lunch. The service was homely and warm. The fireplace was roaring and there was nothing but praise for the food from every member of the group. This is a genuine country pub delivered with genuine country warmth.

Great place for the whole family to for a meal or a social get together at the bar. The food is excellent and reasonably priced and the staff are friendly and very helpful.
