Was completely ignored by staff who just stood around talking to themselves. Much better service at the Chapel street Prahran store.

Tamara was so lovely, she took the time to help me with all the things I needed for yoga.
I'm very happy and I'd definitely recommend getting what you need for fitness and sport here.

Have been buying merchandise from rebel on bourke for a while. Thought that would earn me a few "loyalty points / courtesies.

Turns out the card is just that. A card.

    The experience:
Had to return a T-shirt because it had a different size to exactly a similar T-shirt from Adidas. Just a different color. Would you ever guess that from a brand.

As if that wasn't a surprise I couldn't return it because the store wouldn't accept t-shirts if the size tag was cut off. Apparently because they can't sell it further.

    Potential results :

    1. They could make another customer go through the exact same experience(if I hadn't cut the tag and did manage to exchange it)

    2. Now that they didn't exchange it (a 30 dollar T-shirt which they should ideally be sending back to the brand as a manufacturing defect ) they have lost a loyal customer. Wonder if lifetime value makes any sense to them .

Has a huge product range. Probably the largest sports store in the city.
Recent renovations make it feel less earthy. But the stock range is good and they are rarely out of stock of anything.
Staff are keen to assist. But product knowledge is not as good as Amart just down the mall.
Benchmark sports store in the city.

I purchased some Nike free runners from here ( advised by a Nike shop that they would be best after trying so many on in the Nike shop chose these ones but they didn't have my size) so went to rebel to purchase them as they had my size.. I only wore them maybe 10 time walking to and from work and I was getting a heap of blisters on my heal and toes.. I called Nike to see if maybe other people complained of the same issues or they had advice for me they refused to help or even answer questions as I didn't buy them from the Nike shop, I called rebel (Bourke st where purchased from) and they were so helpful so understanding and allowed me to swap my shoes for a different pair that would be better suited for me. I highly reccomend shopping at this store as all the staff were helpful and knew what they were talking about while chosing a new pair. I was worried the 170 I spent on the Nike free run would have went to waste after the phone call to Nike as they seemed to not care at all, but the man I spoke to on the phone at rebel was more than happy for me to come in so he could look at them as long as I had proof of purchase (bank transaction) he was happy to help.

    Thanks so much!!
