Is a good host for brighton during avsc
I stayed here early September 2017. My wife was in intensive care in the Alfred Hospital nearby and I needed somewhere close to her. (She's OK now, thanks for asking). Here is the storyThe room was tiny and unclean. There was mold in the shower. Not just a little bit, it was everywhere. The door to get into the shower is less than 12 inches wide. Good luck climbing through. The carpet had stains from the door through to the bedroom. There was mold in the refrigerator. The room had obviously not been cleaned as there were cup dribbles on the bedside table. There were long black hairs on the sheets when I pulled the covers back looking for bedbugs (see below). I have short brown hair, so I'm guessing the linen hadn't been changed since the last guest. Traffic noise was horrible. I ran into two drug affected men in the elevator who were staying in one of the rooms on a permanent basis. Nice enough but off-putting if you're not used to them. To top the stay off, I was bitten by bedbugs throughout the night and couldn't sleep. Before you ask if this is true, I have photos of everything, including the bedbugs. I complained to quest, who say they had a pest inspector in and he couldn't find anything. This was some days after my complaint, so I can only guess what the hotel has done in between me complaining and the pest inspector attending. May have actually changed the sheets! Well thank you for calling me a liar Quest. Saying there is no evidence to support my complaint. Other than my say so AND THE PHOTOS! DO NOT STAY HERE! There are plenty of better places nearby.
In relation to the reply from quest below, what a load of rubbish. I have photos of the bed bugs and the marks all over my back where they feasted on me, the mould in the shower and refrigerator, the dirty carpet, the coffe mug marks on the bedside table and me holding a 9 inch tablet in the door space of the shower. It fits by a couple of inches. Thanks again for calling me a liar. Pics being posted. And in relation to a request for a refund, I never made one on behalf of myself. I shouldn't have to take it up with the organisation who booked the room for me. You should refund them directly. That's all I was after.
The staff are exceptionally helpful, and being serviced everyday was a plus for us badminton ladies. Great value for money and so handy to trams.

Large, spacious, modern rooms with sll the trimmings. Wifi needs work though.
Cleanliness is non-existent. Extremely rundown, cupboards in a disgusting condition. Carpet is so filthy and seems to have never been vacuumed .. definitely not vacuumed during our stay. Blanket we wanted to use was full of what we're calling "mucus" (who knows?), and bright pink lipstick. Reception staff response to the state of the blanket was unprofessional. Had to place two requests for a blanket replacement before it was bought to our room. The wry smile and lax attitude from the gentleman on the front Reception Desk was not appreciated. It was a real health issue which shouldn't have been met with laughter or a smile. It was abhorrent to say the least. Big cracks in walls throughout the unit, "renovations" unfinished, towel rack installation incomplete. WiFi useless. Television quality needs attending to. Competence of staff terrible and suggest some customer service retraining. Cutlery in drawer with caked on food .. just dirty. Snot left on a door jam and still there after so called cleaning our apartment. Coffee table not wiped down. Dirty comb in balcony wire door still there after cleaning our room today. No hair dryer!! Non-replacement of items used from mini bar. Our whole experience was horrible. We resented paying money for this room. Alfred Hospital will be advised that due to unhealthy conditions we experienced we feel they should not recommend Quest Windsor as possible accommodation during hospital procedures. Never again!
Rooms were a bit run down, but excellent size and good facilities.
Good location though the room was a bit dated. Staff were on the ball and very polite. Only complaint is that the rooms need a bit of an upgrade and the balconies need to have a good visit from a spider web broom
Great really location with the convenience of public transport very close by
BUT, the room we booked was in major need of a refurbishment. The lounge suite was really horrible. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom good so for a three star establishment these rooms I had no fault with. Just the lounge room, kitchen and kitchen equipment - old and well past their use by date.
The staff were excellent and were very helpful but I feel they are wasted working in this establishment. A more up market hotel should head hunt them.
It's a shame the owners of this hotel don't see it as travellers do.
Sorry to be a bit of a winger but as I said before, a great location, lovely staff but that doesn't make up for comfort.
Our room was clean and spacious, the staff were friendly, and it was an easy walk to restaurants nearby.
