What a beautiful lush green, quiet little show grounds. Facilities are very clean, tidy & well maintained. We travel with horses & would recommend this place as a stop over if you need to spell horses or yourself. We are almost the size of a semi trailer at 18 metres long & there is heaps of room to just drive forward if you can not reverse a trailer that is!
Just be careful if it is pouring down rain, the bottom area of the camp grounds definitely floods. Take note on how high the Telecom tower & water pump station is. They were built up on that mound to stay dry. Yep, that's right, all the way up there! If it is raining like this, you can park up & just stay inside the main gates area. The caretaker onsite will soon tell you if you are in the wrong spot.
Overall, 1 of my most favourite top 10 grounds in QLD.response / report this review
