Great weekend walk, about 3 km round trip to the first rock pool. If you take a track to the right of the information board, you will a lovely place to sit and enjoy the running cool water without having to to take the track, however the walk is a must and worth a swim.

A place well worth a visit. Don't miss to swim in the refreshing pool. No diving or jumping is permitted. I stayed in Platupus Bushcamp, which I enjoyed very much. Also friendly staff.

Wonderful experience. A 2 km walk return for the Araluen cascades and 4 km return for the wheel of fire. The water is very cold in the winter months but divine during the summer.
