Would not recommend this restaurant on a Friday night or ever again. Not only did they give my customised birthday meal to the wrong customer after waiting 45 minutes, they then proceeded to give the rest of the dishes ordered from my family to the same table after they commented multiple times that they were the wrong dishes. The staff then proceeded to ignore me and only commented on the where abouts of my meal when I waved them down. By now I was given three options which were: take he meal that was ordered by the person currently eating mine from the table mentioned before, have her take the things off and add the other things I ordered or to remake the whole meal to ensure quality. I obviously elected for the third option and was handed less than 5 minutes later a dry chewy inedible 'honey glazed pork belly' (obviously I had not received the re cooked dish as promised) I took one bite and spat it back on the plate and waited for 25 minutes before I got the attention of any of the near by wait staff. Not only was I being played a fool but clearly the care factor was a fat zero. We proceeded to express our disgust for the meal to the waitress to which she took it back to the kitchen with no update, chef appearance, no offer of a new meal or an apology at any point. They then expected payment including that meal to which I loudly protested we would not be paying for. Before we left our small table I had to personally wave down another wait staff member to serve the table behind us who had been waiting and trying to draw attention to receive another water bottle. This is not only disgusting customer service but clearly a terrible disorganised restaurant. Save your time and money and pop in to your local hjs down the road like I had to to receive my dinner for the night.

Pub is good with good public bar 2 pool tables and big screen TAB in next room to bar no drinks allowed
Restaurant is average menu doesn't change much

Not sure if they having a bad night in kitchen but food was lukewarm and order was wrong. Waitress was lovely and quiet embarrassed by food being not to a good standard. Have had meals therr in past and was much better previously at this stage i will not hurry back.

Food is bloody delicious. Cocktails are great. Staff are lovely and friendly. Nice atmosphere. When its busy the food takes a bit longer than normal, but the food is always on par. Fantastic local tavern ✔

This is our local and we are very disappointed at how bad it has become. I would not recommend anyone eat there. Last time I ordered pork belly and it was so under done the skin was like rubber. Upon complaining we were told another would be cooked. After waiting an hour and watching my wife eat her entire meal the pork belly had not come. We left in disgust. Not wanting to be tainted by one bad experience we have just tried it again. My wife asked for a well done steak and it was almost impossible to cut with the steak knife. Upon complaining to the manageress Tanya we were told that's what happens when you cook a steak well done, Despite out protestations that we have had well done steaks, both at home and in other restaurants and have never had this issue, she insisted that nothing could be done and proceeded to tell me how their chef knows how to cook steak and that was that, so we paid the bill and left. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN.
