Done a few gigs at the Glasshouse. Incredibly attentive staff, the manager Lee in particular. He made sure I had everything I needed for the events to run smoothly. Would definitely recommend this venue.

Poachers Pantry is a wonderful venue to eat and relax. The food is is of a very high standard. The staff are extremely polite and professional.

Lovely hidden spot nestled away from the highway yet close enough that it's not a hassle to get to.
Beautiful location any time of year, with lovely gardens and good service.
The food is fantastic with delicate and delicious flavours - this is very much the centrepiece of any visit here. Drinks are tasty a healthy selection on tap.
The downside, however is that the price is high. Not unreasonably so, but you are having a meal at a homestead/winery location choice food and drink.response / report this review -

Love this place. We have been going to Poachers for years, we even chose the place to get married. After their recent renovation, the place still has the wonderful, country feel but kept its original charm and character. If you are visiting Canberra you should go and spoil yourself, if you live in Canberra you should go regularly to spoil yourself. Love, love.

Eating here on a sunny weekend is a joy, however I visited for lunch midweek and was disappointed. Only share plates are available on weekdays and everything on the plate I ordered was direct from a packet. I could recreate the same thing from the deli section of Coles. Also killing the mood somewhat was the temperature - the room was ice cold! It was 5c outside and even with the heater on, the glass walls make it the restaurant freezing. Maybe some double glazing in time for next winter?

Food is great, we had the smoked duck. Not sure what was happening on the weekend though, we waited about 45 mins for the food to arrive.

Lovely place to eat and drink, the duck ravioli was amazing and the cheese platter fantastic. Make it a half day adventure in the region and you won't be disappointed.

Good wines specially the whites! Friendly staff. Nice views around the property. We didn't eat at the restaurant but it looked good.
