I must of gone to the wrong place, seriously don't understand the people saying these chips are awesome/phenomenal.. cheapest chips from a supermarket fried.. $3 for regular chips which are a small portion compared to most places I've been to and was cold. Chicken was bland and flavourless.
Just go to your nearest chip shop and get real value for money.response / report this review -

Staff were friendly, service was quick. However, the food isn’t as good as they advertise it. Where is the value? Where are the awesome chips? Got a regular chips, schnitzel and garlic & herb bread. Portion was small and the chips weren’t great at all. Schnitzel is very poor and they charge $5 for it. I had 3 bites and didn’t finish it. The bread doesn’t even have garlic on it.

Very nice chicken, probably the best in my opinion. Only one small issue.. the lady with the blonde hair that works there has never ever cracked a smile nor have I ever experienced good customer service with her! People like that bring everyone down with their poor attitude and makes people like me cringe everytime I come and get my Kingsleys fix 😁

Used for a few years but quality has dropped. Wife just returned with a meal for the famly chicken tandoori burger was stone cold and when i say stone cold it was like the chicken had just come out of the fridge. Can't be botherd with the hassle of taking it back

Food is OK but I'm rarely finding what I order matches what I'm supposed to receive. Have to ask for serviettes every time. Decent shop but not an impressive shop. Just spent 15 minutes of my thirty minute lunch waiting to be served ..

Chicken is OK, Chips are phenomenal.
If you're visiting the Canberra region no visit is complete without trying the chips from Kingsley's. Personal preference is with vinegar and salt (the vinegar is supplied free), but many prefer with Gravy. The croquettes are also a must try item.
Parking is difficult here, but after hours park in the Kmart tyre and auto centre next door.
Staff are young and Kingsley's are terrible employers so turn over is high, be nice these kids are worked hard.response / report this review
