Extremely poor quality food, had the worst and driest steak. Typical of Workers Club food. They're buying up places and turning them into gambling dens.

Quiet club in the middle of green paddocks, with scenic views across the lake to the Blue Mountains. And the best thing - the VB in the tap tastes the way VB is meant to taste. Quality food at affordable prices. This club is a hidden gem. A great place to visit after a relaxing country drive.

Only just a pass, food was nice for pub grub. It is a bit offensive to Germans - having pork nuckle and schnitzel on the menu doesn't make it German. Reorganise the dining room and rename the menu and it would be great.

First time visitor and thought the menu was limited. Ordered pork schnitzel which was delicious and also ordered a side serve of vegetables which cost $5.75 - and for that I got a small bowl with 10 carrot batons and 2 pieces of broccoli. Rip off! When I went to order dessert I was told they had run out - they had no desserts at all! Drinks are expensive too. Trivia game was good fun though

Pork Ribs "apparently" cooked for 30 hours! More like 30 minutes, they were virtually raw and had to be cut with a serrated edged steak knife!. Drinks are very expensive compared to other venues in the area. Staff are pathetic, slow and incompetent. One staffer collecting glasses was standing behind me and my wife commenting on our poker machine pays saying that if we continued to win he wouldn't get paid! The microphone during the raffles has extremely bad feedback causing crackling and annoying screeching. Overall very poor meals and bar service.

The club use to be great,My husband and I use to like going there for the great German food which included the gypsy platter and my favourite chicken schnitzel, but when we went there again not long ago we got a shock that it's now owned by Blacktown workers and they got rid of the German food and it is now just a normal bistro, the food is now average and it isn't worth going there now since it's like other clubs now.

The food is awful. The pork schnitzel had no flavour. The pork knuckle is no comparison to what it used to be. The crackling was nothing but crispy pig skin with no seasoning. Will never come here for food again. The old German restaurant was really good. This bistro is shite. No gf options. The steak that i ordered as medium was so overcooked it was inedible. The only reason to ever come back here is for a beer on the balcony and the free galaga machine.

Had a great meal last night food was great and filling. The service is very friendly and nothing was a bother to the ladies. Nice too eat at a restaurant and not a bistro.
