Very painless process buying my new motorcycle. Sales staff are easy to talk to but aftermarket support for warranty isn't all that great. The staff weren't too keen on honouring my Honda factory warranty when I brought it in and told me to go elsewhere.
Started off with Leigh finding one of the last brand new 2016 bikes I was after then handed me over to Peter who was able to sort out the purchasing fast and professionally. Great team, thanks for everything. Also thanks to Brent and the team in Geelong for hooking up my mods. Appreciate it.
Good range of gear. If you want to buy a helmet they only have stock on the shelf, so your new helmet will have been tried on by several randoms.
Service was very difficult to attain, selection of products was very good but a specialist store needs to provide specialist service, which was sorely missed
After issues dealing with the Parts department in Elizabeth Street (never again! After days of calling and the line ringing out) I rang Ringwood, Blaire answered the phone and delt with me quickly and professionally. I emailed him all the parts I needed and he quickly responded with ETA'S, price and information about some parts I wanted to order that were not the right ones, so he supplied the details of what I actually needed. Can not fault Blaires friendly customer service.
The prices were competitive and the ETA'S good.
Looking forward to doing more business with him, even though Ringwood is 45 minutes drive away and the city store is just around the corner, I would much rather make the drive there tgem get NO service from the city..
Guys are great to deal with, always ready to talk bikes and ordering parts are no problems. Recommended store
PS offers a very disappointing service in my opinion: I bought an Arai helmet from PS. And, I paid over $1,200 for it - Isla TT edition. Then, I broke an air diffuser fixed externally on my helmet and I asked Peter Stevens' help to replace it. Right? They quickly answered that there were no more parts available for my 12 months old helmet. I asked Arai in Japan for its help and they answered that they would be very happy to produce and send the broken parts for me. Simple like that!
Purchased helmet, boots and jacket in accessories and plenty from spare parts over the years and my experience in both areas has been nothing short of excellent. In fact I purchase from them as a preference due to decent in-stock levels and fast ordering when needed (inc notifying me when parts have arrived).
I did have a problem with a pair of Alpinestar boots which were exchanged on the spot no problem.
Never taken my bike into their service area as they do seem to have quite a bad reputation but I have no first hand experience there.
Had my eyes on a used bike for 3 months. Dropped by a few times to have a look at equipment prices, talk to the staff and admire the bikes. Everyone was very friendly during each of my visits.
And then I decided to purchase the bike I had in mind. They got me a sweet deal, prepped everything lightning fast, notified me at every step.
I am more than happy to have dealth with PS MotorCycles.
Recommended.
Had an excellent purchasing experience at Peter Stevens. Elliot was a real professional and patiently showed me the available stock. He is an honest and customer focused consultant and would be a good person to deal with if purchasing your first bike. Safe riding!
Perfect place to look at bikes and gear. Friendly staff, though knowledge varies from salesman to salesman. Good gear selection , even if on the pricy end of things, to be expected from there location.
Spare parts shop is useful, and well stocked.
Only reason for 4 stars not 5 is Sunday.
Why not open on Sunday, when everyone is riding and has free time to shop. So frustrating that they are not open on Sunday's.
Hats off to Tracy Bray for getting my bike to me before Christmas. Pleased with the price and service. Looking forward to the imminent arrival of panniers and gps mount. Overall a good outcome at a very busy time of the year.
Great customer service, really helpful in choosing gear and willing to go that extra mile. Gear is on the expensive side and not a great deal when buying large amount s of gear but I think that the customer service, experience and knowledge of the staff really makes the store. Georgia was great in helping me pick out my first lot of gear as a learner.
I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Sales Consultant Aaron Hastings regarding the purchase of a new scooter.
I decided not to buy a bike, from this store or any other store, for personal reasons.
However, I wanted to let you know that Aaron would have to be one of the best sales people I have ever encountered and needs to be congratulated for his outstanding customer service and knowledge of the stock you hold and motorbikes in general. Aaron has been patient and cordial in all our dealings - over the phone, in person and via email. I feel guilty not buying a bike from him!!
I would have no hesitation in recommending Aaron and your store to anyone who needs to purchase a motorbike or scooter in the future.
