Great food, but delivery price is rediculously high! DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY!!! Food is also highly priced as there is no price on the takeaway menu online so was quite a shock once bill was given compared to other local chinese restaurants.

Food was good. Service reasonable. Butchers-paper covering the tables is a turn-off.

We visited this restaurant whilst on holidays after seeing some very positive reviews on TripAdvisor. Walking into the restaurant, we were the only Chinese people there which was not a good sign. We found the food to be very ordinary and the prices were even higher than
in Sydney. The "pork" in the Sweet & Sour Pork was mostly batter. There was hardly any lamb in their Mongolian Lamb dish. The bill at the end of the night added insult to injury - try $20 for boiled white rice for 2 adults and 2 young kids. Very disappointing.

If you want awesome Chinese food in Cairns, take a short drive from the city to this restaurant. It's well worth it.

Food is delicious and the service excellent. Went to Pearl Garden with my partner tonight. It was very busy but the meals came out in reasonable time. The food was delicious. Loved the combination entree and the Duck in plum sauce was amazing. The service by the guys working there was excellent. Very attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Went in to eat with about 11 people for my grandfather's birthday and we all ordered the good fortune banquet. The dishes were nice but only the plain rice and the plum pork dish stood out and there were several dishes. So if you're looking for *amazing* food, this is not the place. However, all the food came out quickly.

The waitress seemed very rude as if she didn't want to be there, had no patience and seemed a little condescending. She may have also been the manager. However, she did give the kids some cute miniature Chinese lantern type decorations to take home which was nice. The rest of the staff were polite but none of them smiled.

They do have a take away option and I've used this before. You do have to wait quite a while because all the food is made fresh.

Basically, if you want slightly overpriced, slightly good Chinese takeout, this is the place to go.
