Nice little alternative venue to visit with a decent selection of house beers. Food is good and came out quicklly, but a bit highly priced for the quality and quantity. The main inside area could do with more then one air conditioner, that's my only negative feedback. Worth checking out if you're in the area.

Fantastic service! Was made aware that there was a wait for food on multiple occasions, and because of the wait we were well looked after. Food was phenomenal as were the drinks! Will definitely return in the future

This place was once amazing, it's now producing very mediocre food. The food isn't exactly terrible, but it's become basic and uninspiring and isn't cheap either. I'd recommend management create a menu better than some meat and corn chips covered in melted cheese.

Some people will love it, some people will hate it. Reggae meets dive bar

The food portions a large, the atmosphere is loud, and there's a definite culture in the place. I wouldn't say its the best mex food I've ever eaten, but the service is incredible, and the food is very well presented. It's more of a fusion though of west meets mex, which is why I say it's not the best Mex food. As a "pub" Id give it 5 stars as they brew their own beer and the food is great. But as a mexican cantina, 4 stars :) Either way, I'd recommend anyone in Cairns to at least try the Cantina

Nice place out the way of busy CBD. Friendly lively place with great meals. Was with a group of mates, we all loved those meals and Green Ant tap beers. Well done. One of the best fun eateries in Cairns.

Funky little place away just outside the bustle of the city. You can try their own special brewed beer, have some mexican eats, and groove to some cool tunes. Pool tables out the back as well make it a must to visit.

It has an interesting Aztec/ Mexican/ gothic decor. Food was OK. Chicken I ordered was a bit dry and chewy but House made beer was very good and unique. It's a very nice spot with great food. Wings were fantastic. Will recommend.

Get away from the tourist traps and have some great Mexican food (intergalactic) and craft beer (planetary) with the locals. We came for their self-brewed beer, which was satisfying, but the food was outstanding. The "suicide" hot sauce packs heat and is quite good. We heard at least five Beastie Boys songs during our meal and the service was friendly and quick. Don't miss this spot if you're in Cairns!
