There was a bit of a wait, but it was worth it. The most delicious chana masala and garlic naan I've tasted. Brilliant flavours.

Was a good night in. Wasn't to many people witch is a good thing I reckon. Nice staff but be careful on how hot you want your curry.

This place is ok. The restaurant was 1/3 full but it took about 40 minutes to receive our meal. The curries don't come with much sauce but have heaps of ingredients which was actually a nice change. Taste was decent. Spice level was good. When we asked for some containers to take away the food we couldn't finish, they charged us 50c per container for some tiny containers (photo). They could probably just throw them in like every other restaurant. Menus were old and crusty. Table we had inside was one of those ones that is off balance when you put weight on it. No water pitchers for table, just a glass each. Probably wouldn't go again.

Once again an awesome dinner. Friendly owner and welcome atmosphere. Most flavoursome curry we've had in Cairns and we've tried most. Other curries places are either to salty or sweet, not enough heat or have very doughy naan. Mother india ticks all the boxes! (We've eaten most of the menu and it is always consistent and delicious- also the BEST garlic naan ever!).

This is the best Indian l have ever had outside of India. The Lamb Saagwal was full of flavor and the naan was perfect.
