  This is a good place to have some drinks with mates. It reminded me of when I was in Europe. Great atmosphere and friendly bar staff.

  Night Review - Great music atmosphere and laughs. One of the only places in Melbourne that I have found so far to have Kilkenny beer on tap. The food was good hearty pub food with the standout dish to definately be the HP (sauce) flavoured wings. I will be getting a whole plate next time.

  Good location. Straightforward pub with top service and pulls a good pint. Didnt try the food but plates we saw being dolled out looked impressive. Great atmosphere and setup.

  Cosy atmosphere, with a fire going when it's cold out. Two tv's keep things relaxed. Came here on a Sunday night and there was a nice crowd. I got the last table in the corner by the fire, but there is an upstairs dining room too so finding a spot to sit shouldn't be too big of a problem unless it's a super busy time.
  
  I ordered the Guinness pie and a pint of the lager. Total bill came to $33, completely reasonable. The portion was large enough that I took half home and will have it for lunch! The food was delicious with a generous portion of beef in it and a lovely thick rich stew, the potatoes were creamy and not too runny as I've had in other places, and the lager was spot on. I'd love to come back when they have live music! Bartender was really friendly and actually Irish, I think, and the waiter was also attentive, friendly and fast! Definitely recommend The Irish Times Pub.

  If the smell of beer is your thing then this is your pub! Service is Ok but when it comes to paying for your order there is confusion over how many bears were consumed etc. At least the service staff are excellent at their job and can suggest meals/drinks.

  Do yourself a favor .
  Love it in there. Spectacular meals, you need to go back several times to experience how good so many of the dishes are. But i always get the wings as an entre. The blue cheese sause is amazing.

  Had the Irish stew. Was really tasty and filling. My only issue was my lemonade was syrupy.
  Overall a great place however
