Friendly and helpful staff, superb customer service! Had the equipment I needed that other nearby adventure stores did not.

Great service, attentive and knowledgeable staff. Convenient location, prices aren't the most competitive but the store is very nicely laid out. Picked up two camping pillows from here recently and was pretty happy with the overall experience.

Helpful staff and a good collection of hiking/camping gear. The staff go out of their way to understand your requirements and make suggestions based on that keeping explaining really well the pros and cons of the products. If you are unsure of what to get, I recommend you go to the store and speak to them!

Good shop with helpful and friendly staff. The opening hours during the week aren't great though it would be better if they stayed open until 6 so that 9-5ers could stop in after work.

There is a cluster of outdoor equipment shops in this part of Kent Street, of which Paddy Pallin is the longest-established. Paddy Pallin has moved up-market over the years, and sell lots of high-tech specialised outdoor gear. They don't compete with camping shops for the basics though. The staff I interacted with were all knowledgeable, and a membership-based discount scheme is available for regular customers.
