The apartments are nice, though a bit dated fitout. I was upgraded to a two bedroom suite for the two nights which was overkill for a single traveler - why complain at an upgrade? ;) Comfy bed, probably one of the best nights sleep I've had on my visits to Canberra. Tiny TV in the room but had all the channels + foxtel working. Also nice and close to Lonsdale Street for eats & such.
Nice large family room. Comfortable bed. No air con in the bedrooms. It was quite noisy when we stayed dec 2017 because of all the building work going on around them. Great blockout blinds.
We went to the restaurant for their breakfast buffet to visit friends who were staying there. The buffet was fine but nothing to write home about. Everything was fine. But there was nothing that stood out as better than average.
Really great place to stay, great location and easy to get too. Only way to improve would be better amenities. The shower and toilet were dated and the TV was quite old, and a very old sound dock.
Pacific Suites is an excellent hotel in Canberra. Located on Northbourne Avenue, it is very centrally located. The apartment itself is clean and cosy with a kitchen and balcony for entertaining. Rooms are of a large size with good sized bathroom attached.
The rooms were very cleen and the amnesties were well maintained. We enjoyed our two night's a a lot.
Wonderful underground parking and great staff! Lunch specials at restaurant are a fantastic deal as well.
Excellent modern rooms, nice decor and furniture. Would be nice if rooms had airconditioning and the fridge was stocked with snacks, but otherwise a very commendable apartment.
We had a 2 bedroom apartment on a -4 degree winter night. Neither bedrooms had any source of heating at all, only a thin duvet on the bed and no blankets in any of the cupboards.the room had two walls of windows. We were absolutely freezing. There was a film of ice on my water in the morning. I told reception and they said 'well that's Canberra for you' and then 'next time tell us you'd like a warm room'. (!!?!) Then gave me my invoice for $600 plus continued to charge me for late check out. Next time? I can safely say there won't be one.
Location is close enough to City centre. Closest convenience store was a couple hundred metres away (Shell service station). Rooms were clean and tidy. No complaints. Service was ok. Non facing staff were nice. Facing staff not so much. Sister had to take staff member up to her room to prove she had a portable cot. Wouldn't take her word for it. They hadn't told her they had put one in her room, or try she would be charged for it. Went for breakfast and again staff were only average at best.
Convenient location near the restaurants of Lonsdale and Mort streets. The rooms are a good size, and the facilities were really good. I'd definitely stay here again.
The apartment was very clean and well maintained. Service was good. Staffs were very friendly and cordial. Plenty of parking but with $10 per night. We booked one bedroom apartment and the best thing was we were upgraded to a suite at free of cost. What could make us happier than that :)
Room was great, clean and spacious. Marked down slightly as had a bad check in experience - was very rushed and the man at the counter was literally throwing the forms to sign and key cards at me. Other than yours experience, all the staff were very pleasant.
Be very careful of how they use your card. My room was charged well before I arrived and booked in. Four days after checking out there is a further $100 dollars debit pending on my card. I was aware of the need to provide a card as security but not aware of the fact that a charge would be made "just in case" i will not use this place again.
