Nuccaleena Mine ruins

  This is a very remote place and we were quite alone. But both I and my wife experienced the feeling of being watched while here during the day and it unnerved both of us. We ended up camping here for the night and we were very unsettled. About 10pm in the evening, we were startled when a vehicle came up from the river bed 1.4km away. It was a pair of Italians who we passed earlier in the day and they wanted to make sure we were okay. This freaked us out more and we barely slept. First-light and we were out of there! That was in 1997 and we still talk about the energy of this place.
