We arrived fairly late in the evening, but thanks to the friendly hostess, we were still able to get a meal. We both asked for rump steak, but they didn't have any, so we settled for Scotch fillet instead. Nice meal. Asked about accommodation, but their $155 a night was way too expensive for us, so we paid $20 and used their powered site and pitched a tent. Pretty rough ground but we were warned about that, but wasn't too bad. Amenities, pretty basic and old, pay $1 for three minutes in shower, got barely tepid, but that's life. Beautiful and quiet, no cars, no trucks, no phone service and absolutely beautiful scenery.

Great outback pub in a town with more dogs than people. The person who runs this place, runs most things in town. So if you need something, at least your only looking for one person.

A great traditional outback pub in a very small (pop. 22) town in the Flinders Ranges. Famous for it's annual Cook Out Back festival, featuring a camp oven cook off, held October long weekend every year. Great traditional accomodation and meals.
