Just spent a few days at Warraweena Conservation Park, after a 16 hour drive from Melbourne!

We stayed in the shearers quarters, which were very comforatable with a decent kitchen/eating area, and hot shower.

The park itself seemed to have 3 distinct landscapes, all of which were worthy of a visit. These range from the typical (red) rocky hills of the Flinders Ranges, to rolling hills (that were green due to recent rains), to the Warrioota Gorge that was a highlight.

Special thanks to Stony (the manager) who was very helpful and made us feel welcome, and in particular the recommendation to go to Warrioota Gorge (to the water hole) to cool off when it was 37 degrees (in October!).

All in all a fabulous spot and highly recommended.
