  We held our sons 2nd birthday and Baptsim (September 2022) at Mr Hobson, and it turned out to be a truly wonderful experience. Despite the event being delayed twice due to Covid, the wait was well worth it!
  
  The dishes served at Mr Hobson were simply delicious and very generous proportions. All meals were served warm even through it was a large event with many people.
  
  The staff at Mr Hobson deserve commendation for their exceptional service. They were attentive, friendly, and displayed a genuine passion for ensuring guests had a great experience. Joeseph was our event manager on the day (his first event) and he was extraordinary, from his communication through to the level of care he held for our event was second to none. Despite the event's rescheduling, they handled the situation with professionalism and kept us well-informed throughout. Their attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile created a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  
  Mr Hobson was a true delight and the experience was wonderful. The tasty food, beautiful view, attentive staff, and clean surroundings all contributed to a memorable evening. I highly recommend Mr Hobson for those seeking a delightful dining experience.

  Central spot near Tasman Ferry (till Sept 2022). Great food & drinks.
  Coffee and snacks as well.
  Try a double shot for a full-flavoured hit!

  Saturday lunch. Very busy due to the arrival and departure of cruise ships. Ten percent surcharge on weekends. Pizza and scallapini both very good Location and atmosphere excellent.

  It is well located at waterfrong in Port Melbourne. The restaurant has a beautiful interior design and atmosphere however, the bathroom area is not very well looked after and the one I used was out of soap. Pizza (I had Margherita) crust is so basic and at fast-food-level, at best, not restaurant quality as you would expect. Potato wedges were well made and tasty. Service was good except one of the waitresses, who I think was the head of the rest, was not so welcoming. No splitting bills which means if you go there with other families and kids, one has to pay for all then good luck finding out who had what and how much to pay.

  We have dined here numerous times, not just because of the amazing food and views but because,even though it may be 6 months between visits, the wait staff are always so welcoming and friendly. Have to give a shout out to a particular lady called Lana (I had to ask her her name as she is always there when we go and always with a smile on her face). Couldn't recommend this place enough and visit every time we're in the area. the food speaks for itself in this picture
