I liked it. Had a comfortable stay. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Close (and I mean close) to central station which is only 3 stops away from the airport. It's close to shops so if you're not wanting to dine in you can dine out.

I enjoyed my stay very, very much. The freshly decorated and good sized standard room was perfect with a great view overlooking Central Station and surrounds.
Such a great location easy walking distance to heaps of shops and restaurants. The hotel was like a haven to return to, staff friendly and room service just the thing after a day out exploring. Big thumbs up for the Mercure.

This was my first visit to your hotel and I would definitely return. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and well presented. The food in the Four Elements Restaurant was beautiful. The swimming pool was clean and very peaceful. The eve bar downstairs had lovely food and lovely staff.
The location of the hotel was perfect for catching a train to the Opera House.

Overall positive. Helpful staff. Breakfast buffet is fantastic. Room was clean and comfortable except for the air quality which is poor. Smell of stale cigarettes and not fresh at all. I would recommend the hotel to get an indoor plant in each room to help make the air fresher.

Our stay was superb and what a GREAT team the staff are! Close to all amenities and away from the GHASTLY MESS that the government has made of the city to the north of the hotel. It was so pleasurable to wander a new aspect of the city. Room was very good and the restaurant was very good. We were welcomed as if we were family! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel.

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. I was given a room upgrade and a late check out after mentioning it was my first trip away from my kids which as a busy (exhausted) mum of two, was exactly what I needed. Comfy bed in a spacious room. Well appointed and in a great location. Slight mix up with my in-room breakfast with an item missing but this was rectified within a couple of minutes of me making the call so can't fault the service on this either. Would definitely stay here again!

I was attending a conference at the Mercure Sydney and staying the night. From arrival where one of the Concierge team collected my luggage from the taxi, showed me to reception/check-in, Jason handling my booking and check-in process was amazing. I left my bag with the Concierge, when my conference ended at 5:00 pm, I was simply able to head to my room where my luggage was waiting for me. Such fabulous service. The room was well appointed, loved the double blinds, a privacy one and a block out one, so sensible.
Breakfast in the morning was another wonderful experience, staff showed me to a table explained about the various goodies on offer. The staff on duty during breakfast were very friendly and made one feel special and at home.
Check-out was just a brilliant as check-in, handed back my keys, my luggage was taken out to a waiting taxi.
When I am next in Sydney I will most definitely be staying at the Mercure Sydney. A surprising and wonderful experience.

The room was very comfortable, the chocs were a delicious welcoming touch. The view at night was colourful and there was minute ambient noise. Got lost on the king size bed; not been in one before.
The nescafe coffee was not enjoyable but the coffee at breakfast was lovely. The atmosphere in the breakfast room was cozy.
Both check in and check out were easy and the staff friendly in all areas

I made my booking the day before and arrived from Perth at 7.00 am after 30 minutes of sleep. The hotel staff were wonderful and gave me a gorgeous upgrade and let me check-in straight away. My room was spacious and the bed was really comfy. The reception area is well-stocked with daily newspapers and drinks, making it a great place to relax whilst waiting for your uber.

The location was very central, easy to catch a bus or take the train to anywhere! Walking from the hotel to the central shopping areas of the CBD is also an easy feat. The reception, concierge and housekeeping staffs were all very accommodating. The rooms was clean, spacious enough for the two people in a standard double room. The check-in check-out process was also no hassle. We really enjoyed our stay here, would definitely come back again when we come down to Sydney 😊

Hotel room was nothing too fancy, but it was clean and comfortable. Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location is only a short walk to China town, Central station, and World Square! A great place to base yourself to see the sites around this part of Sydney
