I booked this hostel because of the good reviews, and they weren't lying! I came down late and they recognized me because apparently I was one of the last to check in. I had some problems after my travel but I could make phone calls immediately. Very friendly staff. Good rooms, very spacious same as the perfect lockers. Awesome beginning of my stay in Sydney!

Probably one of the best hostels in Australia.

The friendly welcome in reception started one of the journeys I had in Sydney. The reception crew is multi-talented. They speak multiple languages and can sing, dance, fix things or even spin disks in clubs. They truly make the experience great.

I notice the little details and they make a great Sydney experience even better.

First, everyone has a locker and a power point attached, large enough for our big bags. For our own safety we do not get free locks, so we have to use our owns.

We have a bed tag so no one sleeps on the bunk we are sleeping. Entry is by key given to us. This assures me the most of us that the hostel will be safe and there will be no messing around. There is, of course, a locker tag too!

There are regular social activities. Pizzas, quizzes, TV and movie bonding, all end in pub crawls that are so fun, we can just go wild all day!

This hostel does not serve breakfast at all, unlike most Y** hostels (where I am a member of, but I lived enough nights to reap all its membership benefits). But who cares? We all have to recover from hangovers.

Party hostel for 18-35 year olds. Almost every night of the week you can go to a bar or club after having free goon at the hostel. Sometimes free or cheap food prepared, like hot dogs, burger, pancakes. Toilets and showers are reasonably clean but very small. Beds are okay but not more. Staff is great.

Such a good hostel!! I originally only booked 5 nights here but ended up staying for 3 weeks and will be staying here as long as I can! The only downside is that it is a little on the expensive side, however I think it is totally worth the price! The rooftop here is amazing it has such a good view of the whole city and being right next to the central station is so convenient because you can get everywhere in the city so easily! The lockers are so large you can fit your whole bag in there! The staff here are soooooo friendly and it's so sociable so it's so easy to make friends! And so so so clean! Literally the best hostel I've ever stayed in!!!!! Can't recommend this place enough!!!

Never stayed in a backpackers hotel before but all I ever heard about them were horrible things. Dirty, old, smelly the list goes on. Then I found this "Bounce Sydney" with super high ratings both on Google / Hostel World and had to give it a go since I didn't want to spend 100$+ on hotels in the same area.
The room for 8 was quiet (maybe I was lucky to get quiet roommates ?) and had AC, private lockers with power outlets in them and what looked like fresh, clean bed linen. The shared bathroom was OK, with cleaners going in every now and then to keep things under control.
The rooftop area is spacious with great views of the city, a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of space to sit down with your laptop and work/study, sofas and ambient music.
The location is exceptional, right across the street from the central station which is always a good thing when you have a lot of baggage.
Will definitely stay here again whenever I go back to Sydney.

I had an amazing stay at Bounce
By far the best hostel I've stayed in, super clean massive rooms, big lockers that can fit your whole backpack and plug sockets inside! Great facilities.
Love the forth floor Great communal area with an amazing rooftop area. Always have something going on, burger, hot dog, pizza, movie nights nights out, great way to meet new people!
Staff are so friendly and literally help with anything! 100% recommend this hostel to anyone who's in Sydney, fab location, central is literally opposite! Thank you so much for making me feel welcome 🙂

Had such a great time at Bounce. I love the rooftop patio, the staff are amazing and everyone was so friendly. The kitchen is huge and clean, the rooms are spacious and the lockers have plug sockets to charge your devices. I would 10000% stay again!

Good hostel for the price. Best part is the balcony on Level 4! Rooms are good for a hostel, large industrial kitchen and good areas to relax on each level. Across the road from Central Station and 24hr reception. Has 2-3 minimum night stays during peak periods

Nice hostel, receptionist who checked me in on the 27th of march was very friendly which I found makes all the difference. Room is big and having a 'private bathroom' to share with just 5 other girls is a great plus. Beds are comfy and rooms are clean.

Had a private room, which was like staying at an hotel (except the room lacked a worm desk) while being able to socialize with all of the other residents on the nice rooftop terrace. Best of both world! Conveniently located next to the Central station.

This is easily the nicest hostel I've stayed in! The facilities are very clean and there is a great social atmosphere with very friendly staff who are available 24/7! The rooftop terrace is my favourite!
