We just had our rug returned looking new. They did a great job restoring the rug (we were going to throw it out). It was extremely dirty after our dogs enjoyed making it filthy and smelt terrible. Very friendly team that contacted us throughout the process. Highly recommended.

Do not use this rug cleaner!!!!!!
We gave them our rug to clean, it was about 5 years old. No pets no children no visible stains no damage to the pile or edging.
The rug was returned to us covered in large orange splotches like Bolognese stains, the pile was worn away in some areas and the edging stitches were torn and damaged like a dog had gnawed on it. The tag on the back was also missing. We were so upset and contacted rug wash and sent them photos to ask what serious accident must have befallen our rug while it was in their care.
They responded quickly, saying it was a mistake and they had given us the wrong rug back and delivered ours to another person but they didn’t know who. They came and collected the rug and went to investigate. A week or so later after a few more phone calls where they said they couldn’t locate our rug, they changed their minds and said the one they had delivered WAS our rug.
No explanation of how the stains or damage happened, or where the tag went. They tried to excuse themselves by saying the rug must’ve contained viscose and so they are not responsible for the damage. What does that even mean??! Their website says they are experts who can look at a rug pile and know how to treat it and clean it with care, yet they expect us to be the experts and tell them how our rug should be cleaned??! This is a bizarre and pathetic excuse. Something has happened to our rug and they are not being honest about it.
We are still not sure if the rug is even our rug because it looks so different than before. It is now not fit to be on our floor and will need to be thrown away. We are pursuing legal action.
These guys are local and have a nice website but they are not to be trusted with your rugs.

LEGAL ACTION was our only option, when Melbourne Rugwash showed, absolutely no interest in following our complaint when 4 out of 6 of our Persian Carpets handed to them for cleaning on 12 October 2016 [Job Number 35814] were damaged.
Apparently, ours were among a number of other badly damaged carpets during the usual cleaning process.
As the result, we were to be compensated through Melbourne Rugwash insurance company well before end of 2016.
It is now April 2017!
Hopefully we will be able to post a positive outcome of our case sooner than later.

Carpet steam cleaners simply cannot get your prized rugs as clean as rug wash can its as simple as that.
I have used this rug wash service 12 months ago for one of my own rugs and two from our apartment building common areas and have to say the results were nothing short of astounding.
I have just sent two of my much loved rugs off to Rug Wash this afternoon and can't wait to see the results next week.
Great service from booking & payment with Libby to pick-up & delivery with Amos these folks are a pleasure to deal with everytime.

Excellent service, cleaned 4 Persian rugs we inherited. Quite old and clearly not cleaned regularly, but after service at Rug Wash their colours are bright and the pile is restored. Strongly recommend them.

Excellent Service!
If you want your rugs to smell fresh and look fantastic again than choose Rug Wash. My rugs are expensive hand made silk and bought from Hali.
I was nervous as who to trust to clean them for me. Rug wash not only cleaned them but also deodorised and used anti bacterial agents to give them a proper healthy care. It feels silky soft and cuddly to walk on them again. I would recommend Rug wash to anyone who want fantastic service and great outcome.
