Delicious! We ordered the “feed me” option which was incredible value for money. Juan looked after us & he was great! Highly recommended

Juan, our bartender and host was absolutely fantastic. Very knowledgeable and up for a chat. My partner and I had the "Feed Me" menu which was great value for money and of fantasy quality. Couldn't fault the service or the food. Very pleased.

Absolutely delicious. Great flavours. And excellent service, really awesome waitress served us. Love the location as well. Must recommend the fish taco and the pork taco.

Authentic trendy Mexican restaurant. Always busy and thriving with people each night. Queues build up for dinner down the stairs but diners move through quickly. I had the crispy fish tacos, street corn and a beautiful (but spicy) Ling aguachile. A nice selection of mezcal and tequila options too. Highly recommended

Mamasita is a household name for Mexican food in Melbourne. Always crowded on the weekend and walk-ins only, so I would recommend coming before dinner rush hour. Corn on the cob and in the cup tasted different! The cup had some sauces besides the cheese and the powder on th cob. Queasadillas and tacos are light and tasty. Overall experience is great but comes at a slightly above average price. Expect around $35 pp.

As a student dining here led to a painful hit to the wallet, but damn was it worth it. Exceptional service (fun, friendly, quick and knowledgeable staff), nice location with a good cozy atmosphere. More importantly, the food was exceptional and the tequila shots were sublime.

Expect to spend upwards of $50 for a meal and a drink or two, I do feel it's a very justifiable occasional dinner though! I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Oh my gosh, this place is something like no other, totally amazing!!! I can't fault it! The RESTAURANT was a chic, cool vibe, the SERVICE above and beyond (they must train and treat their staff really well) because it SHOWS you just don't get this kind of service in most places, the FOOD, I can't stop thinking about it, it was devine!! Who would have thought Corn on the Cob could taste so so good. Keep doing what your doing people and THANK YOU! Lisa Green

Wow, the food at Mamasita is amazing!! We had seven people at our table and all ordered the banquet option. The courses which came out just got better and better, leaving you wanting to come back again to try those items again or something new. They were also very willing to help one of our group who was lactose intolerant, and made sure he didn't miss out. Thanks for a great night. Make sure you book!

Good restaurant with tapas. Food is good, except the corn cobs, which are amazing. But don't expect other items to blow your mind.

While I wanted to love this place, I found it to be just okay.

The cheery, fun waitress who spoke great Spanish (learning it at Uni) was the high point and the sangria was good. However, the pozole was too spicy to be consumed (and while I'm usually okay with spice, this was way too spicy) and didn't include traditional 'hominy' corn. The grilled fish tacos weren't worth finishing.

For folks who are familiar with Mexican food, the hype around this place is disappointing.

If the kitchen were to look at places to improve, I'd recommend trying to find a source of freshly made tortillas or making them in-house.

A Mexican inspired place that serves good food, great cocktails and wonderful attentive staffs. A great hidden gem, be sure to book in advance as they can get pretty busy. Overall a great place to wine and dine and chase down a tequila or two :)

Get there early! Amazing food, great drinks and awesome atmosphere. Staff are really friendly and is well worth the wait if you get there late. Mexican street corn to start is the best way to start!

Great food and great service! Worth the wait if required to do so. Definitely a place that lives up to its hype. The street style corn is a must!
