Talk about a revelation. Where has Mama's been all my life? Seriously terrific food and lovely people. Clever, a little quirky, just enough to make the dishes their own. East super clean or pig out on old-style pizza and Hamburgers that are actually REAL, Juicy and taste great. It's all about the flavour here. The grain saiad and miso marinated crispy skin salmon are to die for. Literally. Don't ever order it, or you'll find yourself ordering it all the time - and i mean that. The grain salad is like nothing you've had before. drizzled in honey and yoghurt and a combination that has you wanting more and more. Generous portions and the perfectly cooked miso inspired salmon to the side is just fantastic to boot. When i feel a little rebellious i order the Calabrese Pizza, thin base, Italian/New york style and the flavour is the bomb. Desserts are home made and hard to pass up as well. For Black Rock and Beaumaris, it's hard to find better. It's not your lush exclusive 'dine in' flash restaurant, it's more a tight family cosy atmosphere, but the food is killer and the owners and staff match the reputation. Love it. You won't be disappointed.

The amazing crew at Mamas Kitchen catered a party for us last night and the food (and service!) was absolutely phenomenal! Had salmon, pulled lamb, meatballs, roast potatoes and greens - all delivered hot, on time and tasted beautiful. Servings were extremely generous and our guests were very impressed! Georgia was very friendly and delightful to deal with and only too happy to cater to some special dietary requirements we had as well. Would highly recommend them and will be using them again ourselves for sure.

The guy I spoke to was very rude and I sat down and grabbed a drink of water and glass and he looked at me like I was stealing. The food was souva was soaked in oil it was an inch deep in the box I could not even eat it. I rang him up to let him know and he didn't even apologise he was rude once again. Overall it was a very bad food and experience. Steer clear

The most authentic family restaurant I have been to in a long time! Friendly and understanding staff who are attentive to everyone on the table. This is a little place with big food. The pulled lamb souva is worth an hour's drive alone. So in and try it out, it will not disappoint.

Manager served us extra chips for free in case my girlfirend stole some of mine (which she always does). We had Awesome burgers. Extensive menu. Nice atmosphere. Good pricing.

Outstanding as always. We are always humbly welcomed to this place, the food is super delicious and the staff are very friendly. It's well priced and in a great spot. It's about a half hour drive for us but is well worth it!!!

The Mama's Burger is the best burger I have ever had. It is so delicious and juicy. I don't even know how the bun manages to stay crisp with the delicious juices from the patty. I often use menulog and pick up. It's usually ready in 10 mins. My favourite burger place in Melbourne!
