The food here is always good. Bacon Benny is my favourite and the homemade hollandaise is perfect. Their coffee is great, one of the best I had here in Melbourne. Good place for brekky and lunch.

I've been here a number of times; the atmosphere and the location are excellent, and it is easily accessed from Mordialloc Station. The menu is full of interesting and well-considered dishes, however in execution, I find it falls just short of expectation. Most recently, I had the gnocchi, which while the gnocchi itself was delicious, there was barely any sauce, which made the whole dish too dry. Overall, Main Street is still one of my favourite spots on the Main St; they have an extensive drinks menu and the staff are very accommodating. It's also right next to Side Street, which makes for good drinks and tapas afterwards. For weeknights, bookings recommended.

Customer Service is exceptional, always busy, food is good, coffee is good but they clearly focus more on their food here. The only negative comment I would make is the fact that a large latte is almost $6.00 but the atmosphere and service is so excellent I can't help but give it 5 stars.

I really don't like writing bad reviews but tonight deserved it. Dinner was pretty awful, service average and really walked away disappointed to have wasted a rare night out without kids. I feel like they are hoping that the good breakfast reviews balance out the bad dinner ones, because it really seems like they aren't even trying. I have had better curry out of a packet and the 'jus' on the ribs was more like chicken shop gravy, but worse.

Went in for breakfast. Had the Hungry Hippo, was fantastic. Staff are friendly, decor is nice. Would definitely go again.

Amazing wait staff. Really nice drinks, great coffee and awesome food. Got the lamb 29.9$ which was tender and flavours were beautifully balanced. Great quality, and very tender.
In terms of coffee, the coffee was pretty nice, and my two cocktails were fantastic. Also had a 14$ dessert that was far better than bargained for. Great place for average price range and good vibes. Would 10/10 recommend.
Only complaint - took a while to get food and drinks. I would say only having two wait staff and two staff making drinks when the place is PACKED (Sat. Night) probably not the best idea. Aside from that awesome experience.response / report this review -

Great Coffee and lovely service.

Waited a long time to be seated & even longer for our food. Thankfully they tried resolving the issue by providing a "on the house" "half strength cocktail" food was nice. Just could have spent my money on something better.

Can be a bit hit and miss - when it's great the food is faultless; fresh, tasty and delicious. Unfortunately consistency seems to be an issue and a result, I have had some disappointing meals here. Good but not great - if the food was consistently as pleasing as the athestics and internal dining atmosphere and environment I would have no other reason to try the other local eateries.

Went here on a public holiday, one of the few places open. The meal I had was a little plain, the bread was a little over toasted and the food came out a little bit cold. The food also took a little while to come out as it was quite busy. From what my friends told me, they have changed their menu. I also had the mango passion drink which was excellent.
