  Amazing food. Great drinks too, most are served in mason jars which serves the popular demand for it well.
  Wait staff were a little slow and it was hard getting their attention but I’m sure with more practise, they’ll get the hang of it. They were only new afterall.
  Overall a good meal, great atmosphere and friendly staff. 👌🏻

  We went to dinner at Trax not long after it opened in Bonbeach (the address says Carrum but has since moved from its original location). We had chicken parmigiana which was a massive a serve which you could have easily shared between two people. Honestly, it was a little grosse in size. Secondly, my partner cut into his and starting eating it and realised that the whole thing was raw on the inside. Horrible! In relation to the presentation of the cafe from the street it seems very uninviting during the day as I walk past it going to the station every morning. It's a dark and gloomy exterior with a black awning, Fat Yak panels that sit on the footpath to promote the cafe itself which are also inappropriate for a cafe. I can understand it has music at night and is open for dinner in the evening but really they could brighten up the exterior for daytime trade. The cafe / restaurant / bar doesn't fit into Bonbeach. It looks out of place.

  the food there is amazing, very good quality. But I ordered a meal via menulog and 1.5hr later called in to see whether the food is on its way, was advised that it is 10-15 min away, half an hour later still no food, called in again and was told that it is 10min away and that the food hasn't left yet. So pretty much it took them over 2 hours to prepare a simple meal. And not even once have they called me to notify that they will be late, all that time I had to ring myself. Very poor customer service.

  Delivery took over an hour longer than promised. Food ordered was not delivered as they 'were out' of the particular dish i ordered.
  Replacement items for the ordered food were less than acceptable.
  Food was under cooked, soggy and cold!
  Order elsewhere if you want good food

  Wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed our quiet midweek lunch. Parma was thick, juicy and a challenge to get through. Lamb salad (sans peppers & olives) also exceeded expectation.

  So I thought I'd give this place a second go cause of the review history. (Which I'm now Suss about) The two VERY strong stars I gave were for the front staff girls. However so very let down by the weekend cooks. What the hell.1hr waits, less than 8 people in the place too! Get your act together, cause this is Melbourne and all you need a couple more competitors and your gone. The set up is great and well thought out but if you can't serve it up in reasonable time for AVERAGE food then don't bother. Sorry guys, I'm a positive person but you guys need to know.

  Both the food and service at Trax was awesome, and very quick. There were 6 of us who ordered entrees and mains, and we didn't have to wait hours for it to come out. Guaratee I will be going back in the future
