Worst food ever I had , quality is awful and very poor ! With very less food selections - and they advertise as buffet ! What a joke !!
Disgraceful customer service on-board , however they’ve tried utmost to keep customer happy ! Price would have been great if food quality was good. Albeit , Excellent view from the cruise !!

Yesterday my husband & I partook in the lunch cruise. We had thought this a possible venue for our Xmas lunch with overseas family visiting & decided we should check it out beforehand. Lucky we did. I was surprised & pleased to see that the food was ready as soon as we arrived on board. However this soon changed to disappointment & concern. The hot food was lukewarm at best, and given this included seafood it could have been quite dangerous re food poisoning. I gave this feedback to our wait staff who responded well & consequently the Manager, Juliana came & spoke about our concerns which she then passed on to the Kitchen. We were also given a complimentary bottle of wine. Whilst our experience was very disappointing & a waste of money the staff managed it very professionally , and made us feel our complaint was taken seriously , and was taken as an opportunity to hopefully rectify the situation. I would like to think so.

I have been to this cruise two times, one from work and another on our anniversary. friendly staff and best buffet. worth trying it once specially the on on special deals.

Was an amazing evening on the harbour (17/06). The sights of the harbour, the boat, the dinner, the drinks, the staff were all of the highest order. The cruise was used as a back drop to my engagement and I couldnt have chosen a better scene. Thankyou Magistic Cruises for a lovely evening.

NOT IMPRESSED!! I booked the lunch time cruise for February 14 for six family and friends, three from interstate, to celebrate a 70th birthday. When I booked a few weeks earlier, I was given a complementary hour, ie, a three hour cruise, boarding and disembarking at Circular Quay. Just prior to boarding I was informed that,because of the extra Valentines Day trips, the cruise would only be two hours, which I graciously acknowledged. We sailed out at 12.50pm. Most other passengers already on board had eaten by this time so as soon as we settled, we attended the buffet which by then was reduced to one serving area. The meal was mediocre at best!
We were still eating and having coffee when the boat docked at Darling Harbour and we were aware that passengers were disembarking. On inquiring, we were told that the boat was not returning to the Quay and we would have to leave the boat at Darling Harbour. This was only 80 minutes of the supposed 2 hour cruise, at the cost of $79 per head!! We also then had to find our own way back to Circular Quay!
We complained at the booking & information office at Darling Harbour and were eventually refunded $20 per person! Absolutely NOT good enough, should have been a full refund, and I will never be recommending Magistic Cruises to anyone!!
I will also be following this up by contacting the Australian Cruise Group of which Magistic Cruises is a part.

Boarded on Australia Day. The price is a bit expensive but the experience was great. Crews on the boat was very friendly and helpful.

An expensive nightmare , we were treated with disdain and arrogance! The food was ok , but clearly on a two hour cruise you have to be a pig in a trough, because I got a small helping thinking I'd go back to the "buffet" and all the food was gone, really disappointed and I need to express that information !!! It was disgusting serf if on top of all that!

I love Sydney Harbour and being on the Majestic made it a great experience. The staff is very friendly and the food is great. I can only recommend this experience.

REALLY DISAPOINTING
The cruise was the one low of a wonderful weekend in Sydney. The views were amazing but the food was very poor quality the hot food was just warm both we were unable eat much due to the fear of food poising. The deserts were nice but were just pre-packaged products that come in frozen. Not worth the money spent.
