Exceptionally helpful with our choice of outdoor chairs, even after we changed our mind!
The service I experienced was unprofessional.
The customer service at the Norwood store is very poor. I was ignored for 15 minutes. I have worked in stores in the past and it's not a difficult job. It is part of the job to be friendly.
Staff were very helpful during my time in the store. However, I purchased two bedside tables and the quality is poor. The hinges are not properly attached and the door is, therefore, crooked and doesn't shut. They are delivered in the boxes that come from the manufacturer so there is no quality control. They are not the cheapest shop so they could take the time to check the goods before they are delivered to the customer. I did notice that the legs on the beside table on the floor were crooked and asked if mine would be checked and was told no, as they didn't usually have any problems with their items. Admittedly, that should have rung alarm bells that they were not committed to quality and customer experience. To avoid disappointment, I would not shop there.
Lacks customer service. Staff stay behind the counter, don’t offer to take items to the change rooms for customers, don’t approach customers in the change room to ask if they need other sizes, leave items that other customers have tried on laying around without moving out of the way for new customers. All when the store is empty, staff stand idly by, don’t bother asking if customers are looking for anything in particular or even greet them when they come in. Would have thought these things were retail 101. A shame for an otherwise nice store to be let down by staff like this when customers could have been offered a more helpful experience
