Went there last Friday. Good location and decor. Service was friendly although not very attentive.
Food was in my opinion quite expensive for what it was. I have certainly had better Thai food elsewhere. For my mains I order the chicken and prawn pad thai - which was a sheer disappointment. Only got two prawn pieces and the overall taste of the dish was quite ordinary. For a restaurant that styles itself as "authentic" and "royal cuisine" it constituted a serious lack of skill and effort.
Perhaps this restaurant used to be special at some point in the past but it is no longer so. But hey you should try everything once and that's the basket I am putting lemongrass in.
Tried amazing pad Thai and Thai style fried rice. Traditional green curry goes really well with eggplants and broccoli. Most impressive is the kind and considerate service!
Great place for Thai food.
The environment is enjoyable.
Especially recommend the fired rice and pad Thai!
Good location and decent quality food but the price is too high to justify.
Their sign says “best Thai in Melbourne” which I do not agree with.
Feel you can get better quality Thai at a better price elsewhere.
If you eat here, you’re paying for the location and the decor.
Went for dinner with a girlfriend and it was fantastic, great atmosphere and the food was amazing. We had green curry puffs, corn fritters, linguine pahd Thai and green beef curry. Staff were so friendly - I want to definitely go back as many times as I can! Two thumbs up
Went here today for dinner! the atmosphere was great! food was fabulous! plenty of entree choice and main courses. The sticky rice with prawn, satay chicken, and fried corn are to die for! chilli crab is awesome. the only negative is the food takes a bit long to serve.
The waiter is very helpful as well!
Best Thai restaurant anywhere.
They use fresh herbs and spices in everything. We have never been disappointed.
Fantastic friendly service.
Beautiful place and nice foods.Thai food heaven! I came here with friends, high point to the seafood hotpot and chili chicken with rice!😍 the hot pot is a little spicy with tomato and seafood, it's really tasty especially when having this hot pot with a rice of coconut 🤗The chili chicken is so delicious! Definitely a good place for friends gathering! A must go place for Thai food at lygon!
By the way, come here with classmates on Monday and Wednesday, bringing students ID you will get a 10% off on the chili chicken !!!
Nice Thai restaurant! Cosy and spacious surroundings. We five ordered five dishes and felt really full. All the dishes are really delicious and I love the Phad Thai especially, with shrimps and bean sprouts. The ingredients are all fresh and yummy! Strongly recommend this place:)
The food here really surprise me! The chicken and prawn pahd thai is my most favorite one:) All the ingredients are fresh. The stir-fried rice noodles is soft and tasty, not spicy and a little bit sweet, which is my type. Prawn and chicken are juicy. I didn't expect there would be so many different kinds of ingredients in just one dish haha, eggs, tofu, onion, crushed peanut and also Chinese chives! Love it! The best pahd tai I ever had:) Also recommend the coconut rice, yummy!
It is easy to find, on the Lygon street, near Argyle Square. The environment is so great and comfortable. The most important is FOOD IS AWESOME! Tried six dishes, all are delicious. My favorite and high recommendation is Seafood Hotpot! It definitely is on the must-order list. All seafood is fresh, even though it is spicy, just can not stop.
Liked the decor and atmosphere. Spacious and clean. Food was tasty and well presented. Polite staff.
