Fabulous service. Had the most amazing massage and the nicest tea afterwards.
The massage itself was great but I was covered in oil after which had gone up in my hair too from the neck massage so decided to use the shower in the change room (as there was a note saying a hairdryer and comb was available under the sink). There was no hairdryer or comb so I walked out with wet frizzy hair and a weird excuse as to why there was no hairdryer The lady at the desk got my name wrong too multiple times.
Jo gave the the fastest clean sweep wax I've had in perth very good ! And was great priced comparitevly.
I was lucky enough to receive a gift voucher for my birthday and used it today on a full body scrub and massage must say the experience was absolutely blissful, thank you Amanda.
Went in to buy a voucher a while ago and they were rude and very expensive. a friend later told me she went and a young girl did a treatment and was a waste of good money I walked out and didn't buy a voucher from there that day :-(
If you're in need of some serious pampering, you won't be disappointed at Keturah. Loved it!
How Dare You!
Who would have thought that an eyebrow tint could be such a negatively, impacting experience? I walked into the treatment room and laid down on my back. I told the therapist that I like my eyebrows dark, to please leave the dye on longer, because I like them dark. She came over to look at my eyebrows and said "Gee, who has been hacking at your eyebrows?" I said "Pardon?" She said, "You have hardly any eyebrows, what is going on with that?" I then sounded irritated and said "What?" She then passed me a mirror and said, "Here, take a look if you think I going mad".(why did I continue with her at this point? I don't know, but I did - perhaps I like being abused in a place of comfort and relaxation!!!) Then she proceeded to put Vaseline Jelly all over my eyebrows, yes, all over them, not just on the skin around. I asked the question "Oh, are you putting the jelly on my actual eyebrows and not just on the skin? She said "I have been doing this for 10 years, I know what I am doing!" In my head I thought, 'I have been having my eyebrows tinted for many more years than that and not once has anyone rubbed jelly into the hair of my eyebrows before' Anyway, I could be wrong with this one, I am not a qualified beautician. She asked what colour I would normally use. I asked her to use Dark Brown. She said "You are Blonde you know!!" I said "Yes, I like this colour" WHY DO I HAVE TO DEFEND AND EXPLAIN EVERY DECISION - JUST DO WHAT I HAVE ASKED!!!!!. She then said "OK, Natural Brown" Now, I don't know if this is just a different word that they have for their colour at Keturah, perhaps it is - otherwise she blatantly went against my instructions. Anyway, she applies the dye ontop of the vaseline..and waits. A few minutes later she takes the right hand side off. She is about to take off the left hand side and I said "Please can I quickly look if this has taken enough before you take the other side off" She gives me the mirror and says "In my professional opinion, that is dark enough, don't forget you ARE blonde you know!". I look and it hasn't taken much at all! I say "No, it isn't dark enough, please reapply" She said, "Well, everyone is going to think that you look surprised with your eyebrows looking like that"
I tell you, I left that Salon, unfortunately not saying anything about the experience, but like so many disgruntled customers, I will be telling the world and every friend and staff member of mine. I am disgusted and feel violated and self conscious. What a Nasty, Disgusting and Unprofessional Experience!! I can't even believe that it really happened!!!
