Check what's on before you head down; there are always different events/bands/DJs on weeknights and weekends. Moving to within walking distance of the Rosie was a dangerously good decision

Don't get me wrong I've frequented this place to see live music for years and I'll be back. But the food here is very average and especially for the cost. I wouldn't recommend for a meal. The service we got from one staff member today was awful. He was so focused on saving a wasp that was on our plates when he cleared the table that he chose to completely ignore what I was saying to him twice. It was very rude. When two people have just dropped $50 for simple meals you should respond when they speak to you and not runoff to save a wasp ffs. We won't be back for a meal in future. Dear Rosemont Hotel, please talk to your Gen Y staff about what a paying customer is. We should be treated with at least as much respect as a wasp who was eating for free. This guy literally chose to ignore me. My husband was astounded.

It's a pub and it sells beer. You can't go wrong. They do good wings and reasonable food. It has a relaxed vibe in a nice outdoor area.

A North Perth institution! The Rosemount Hotel has provided quality live music to patrons for decades. Recent renovations are welcome and the outdoor area has a landscaped terrace with undercover heated dining tables. There are nightly specials from the kitchen and drinks are reasonably well priced. Friendly pub atmosphere.

The Beer Garden is a great loaction to enjoy a cold one and steak sandwich. Staff are great and there is always live music on in the various rooms.

I like the Rose mount, it's one of Perth's last old school independent pubs and it looks like business is going well. Recently refurbed with a big beer garden with tons of seating, reasonable beer prices and some of the best live entertainment in the area.

There is two indoor areas, one which I recently visited was hosting a theatre production and the other often has live bands playing. The staff are friendly and the drinks come quick, exactly what you want from your local boozer.

Beer garden is a great place to hang out. Food served not too bad. Have been to a handful of gigs here, not a bad setup. Corner stage with bar in middle. Can get a little cramped when shows start as it's in corner but it's all part of the fun.
Overall prices are not too steep. Would recommend beer garden and venue itself is great.

Great pub, haven't seen a gig here. But the beer garden and food offered is quite good.
Casual vibe, eclectic crowd and unpretentious. Tending towards the 20 something age group (but all age groups hang out here), nice pub and not owned by one of the majors, so has its own quirky style, worth a visit.

Went for dinner, the kitchen was being renovated so a limited menu was being offered from their 'street food kitchen' (BBQ and fryers behind some pallets). Despite limited equipment the food was fantastic. Steak cooked to perfection, cheeseburger succulent (not pink but still juicy). Will definitely go back once the kitchen is finished. On a side note, the bar staff were friendly but so high!
