The steak tenderloin was cooked to perfection, medium rare, soft and delicious. Chicken was average. Scallops some were a bit too over cooked. Portions were slightly small. Prawns were good.
The chef was friendly, atmosphere was amazing.
No tricks and throwing of food from chefs at this teppanyaki.
    Made delicious Mai Tai cocktails.

Very nice tetppanyaki japanese restaurant. Awfully there is no show like in most of those restaurants but food was perfect. A bit expansive.

The food was fantastic, the chef was amazing. Catered well for my three year old daughter.

Although not as showy as some, I can definitely appreciate the draw to a less messy and more formal evening. Not having chicken spilt on my suit was a big plus.

The staff were prompt and polite, some unnecessary apologies but still very attentive and aware of their surroundings.

The massive draw on the evening was being shifted to a different table to eat dessert. I'm unsure if this was to free a table up, or to keep the ice cream away from the hot plate, either way, neither myself or my wife were a fan of the inconvenience.

The male amenities were average, floors were so sticky, but the seats were clean. A towel dispenser would not go a stray.

All in all, I would definitely return. Thanks for a lovely evening.

This is on my 5 top food experiences u must do if in Melbourne. This is not the kind of 'two bit' Teppanyaki grill that would normally throw food around. They do quality food with service and experience to match. Nothing but basic seasoning is put on your food so you will get to taste it the way quality food is intended to be tasted. This is a must and i highly recommended this venue to all my colleagues visiting Melbourne. Extra Tip - Make sure you get the Sake with your meal. It will top it off and set the tone for your night!

Note that you could easily walk past the enterence if not paying attention as its just a single door between buildings on Collins St. In true Melbourne style.

    Proper and Intimate Teppanyaki ..

Yes, it is proper' properly prepared, cooked and served, none of those acrobat show while enjoying your great ingredients they've prepared for you.

Intimately set up ad comes with that Japanese politeness that they are known for.

Always a treat coming here . it is pricey, but not astronomically crazy, just right.

An authentic Japanese teppanyaki. We went here for my wife's birthday dinner on Sat night and it was really crowded. We ordered the steak and chicken special dinners (around $60 to $70) which were delicious. Portion was quite generous too. The lady who cooked our food was helpful and friendly
