Relatively friendly and attentive, moderately knowledgeable staff. Good balance of tech on display to fiddle with and observe. Staff can be a tad bias sometimes but overall probably the go to retailer for geek hardware (pricing is usually reasonable too.)

Went in today to buy a Playstation 4 and the dude who helped me out was awesome. Asked if I needed help and got me exactly what I needed. Absolute legend. 10/10 would recommend he gets a promotion.

Unhelpful staff, no discounts, no deals, just basic service and move on.

Through a couple of bad experiences I have found that dealing with this JB Hi-Fi is probably more annoying and frustrating than worth.

Talk about fighting for your consumer rights, these guys will give you a run for your money.

My recommendation would be see the team in Belconnen, they will help you out more than these guys.

I sent in a Mackie 15" speaker a fair while ago, a month at the least, and i bought the speaker with an extended warranty and a replacement plan but when i came in with the speaker and asked for a replacement after showing them the receipt and the warranty itself they told me they would send it in to the warehouse but i noticed that there were working Mackie 15" speakers on display and asked if i could just use my warranty now and get it replaced straight away but the guy at the counter kept insisting to take it to the warehouse at which point i just gave up and decided to accept a repair instead of arguing for 20 more minutes because all i really wanted was a working speaker.

So now it has been a month or more even and they still have not gotten back to me and i called this morning to inquire about the repair/replacement or whatever was going on and the guy on the phone told me he would get up the case file and call me back. i will give him 3 hours because i am sick of waiting and if this issue is not dealt with in the next 2 weeks i will take this issue to the next level.

I'm very disappointed

Usually my first stop when looking for electronics. Prices are fairly good and you can always get some sort of discount. my advice though is to do your research and pick what you want before leaving as their range may not include all or latest.
