Staff had no idea, 20 minutes for an iced latte which they forgot to make in the order. Two of the staff were standing around anf the only one working was smashing through the coffee's. Needs serious improvement

Poor quality cakes. Inconsistent day to day. Pastry thick one day, thin the next. Vanilla slice custard smooth and creamy one day, grainy and salty the next. When hosting regular corporate functions, you can’t rely on dodgy Dobinsons. Many better pastry shops about Canberra.

Delicious and reasonably priced. They also make a nice pot of tea. Their pies and sausage rolls are to die for.

Excellent breakfast menu, awesome bread (LOVE THE BREAD), and great cakes and pastries that are awesome value. Get here!

We came to have lunch here after climbing the Black Mountain. The cheese burger was great with a large portion, and Chocolate on Chocolate was so smooth and satisfying that I simply couldn't stop eating! Dobinsons is definitely a must-go for desert lovers.
P.S. The Dobbo's cheese burger set comes with a really large portion so ladies should consider sharing it within pairs.

It can get pretty busy here, but the service is great, and very organised, so the queue moves quick. Judy had a steak, bacon & cheese pie which wasn't bad (after Black Star pies, everything else tastes a little ordinary But this was a good pie Better than most anyway!) The coffee was good too. We will be back!

Friendly and quick service. Generous servings and the water is infused with fruit. The cakes and pastries are divine. Hot drink card gives you free drink on 10th visit AS WELL AS A FREE CAKE!

Best service in Canberra bar none and a wide variety of high quality meals and bakery treats at a very good price. I try other places occasionally but keep coming back. A local legend for very good reason!

Have to say, food and value for money are fantastic at this cool little cafe. Only thing that let the place down was the rude attitude from a staff member. I was made to feel as if by being a customer for this establishment I was a burden. Really left a sour taste in my mouth. Other than this the food was great, definetly would recommend- just stay away from the angry Irish backpacker and you'll love it!

If you dont like the cakes at Dobinsons there is something wrong with you, try the raspberry white choc cheesecake, banana caramel tart and chocolate cheesecake if you want to go to heaven.also the almond croissants. I seriously want to punch anyone who gave this place a bad review. If and when i am in canberra I am here, not even a question

One great little bakery. Really good breakfast and lunch. Beautiful sourdough bread. There's a sign that the sourdough starter is 20 years old. But that sign hasn't changed in 10 years.
They make a great flat white coffee.
