I've been there a few times. Food is always yummy, staff are ok. Bit expensive but thats to be expected.
Frequent Diner is a bit of a scam.
1. Before you can have a frequent diner you need to pay $50 i think which is valid for 5 years 10% or 20 i cant rember the discount.
2. They send an email to upgrade your frequent diner to Hogs Squad which is 25%off for life for $20.
3. NOTE: They release a new menu which they will not accept the frequent diner or hogs squad. Which is WOW! REALLY?
4. They say u can eat free 1 month before or 1 month after ypur birthday, we went their 1 day before my birthday and i didnt get a free food, even i have my hogs squad member card with me. i need to have the birthday email with the free meal on it.
So Hogsbreath whats the use of the hogs squad member card?
Terrible service, Food was disgusting- actually made us feel ill. Expensive for what you get. I have phoned 3 times to complain with absolutely no follow up after the manager took my details & also spoke to the owner. Would never go back 😡
Great service. Falls down on lack of deserts for Diabetics. Food good. Really enjoyed ourselves
Great service
Nice cocktails
Awesome desert
They don't know how to cook
Steak was cold and chewy, Mrs steak was even worse.
Ribs where a fight to get the meat off the bone and cold.
If you want steak or ribs could easily get better at your local pub for a fraction of the price
Won't be back
Will tell anyone who will listen not to go here
I've been going to Hogsbreath Kelmy for about 5 years because it is local to me. When i went Wednesday night, I was very disappointed. The new menu was ridiculously overpriced. Salad was separate to my meal. Never was before. And the 3 very small fish fillets were undersized and crumbed. Always were battered previously. I won't be back.
Went here for a friends birthday. Staff were very efficient and friendly. Prices were very reasonable. Would definitely go again.
Good atmosphere, polite service, bland out of the packet type food, but presented well. The desserts worth the wait.
I read a lot of reviews before going there today, and wasn't expecting much in service or food quality.
The Restaurant was quiet for Sunday lunch. We were quickly seated and served, the staff that dealt with us were friendly and professional. I had crumbed prawns for entree which were mostly crumb, but cooked well and tasty. The Rib Eye was well cooked to order and tender, the baked potato was nice with sour cream, the Caesar Salad looked a bit sad but was ok. Ice Cream and Pavlova finished the meal nicely.
Prices were ok and the Meal was fine and good value for a Steakhouse/Cafe, nothing to complain about really. I'd go back.
Nice steak house if you're wanting a quick, casual and not too expensive dinner out.
Their steaks are delicious, but serving sizes are huge. I'd imagine they'd have a huge amount of food waste, which means I only go here every now and then.
Customer service is pleasant 98% of the time. Atmosphere is nice enough. 7/10
