Beautiful venue, although can't house very big exhibitions so the $18 admission feels slightly steep

First time visitor. What a beautiful place. Wide open space with amazing gardens, sculpture, paintings & buildings and PLEASE read the history. Fascinating.
It was quite a warm day so we desired to pause for a refreshment , maybe late lunch at tha Heine Restaurant. Big mistake.
Asked if we could sit inside because they had air conditioning.
    “Did we have a booking”
    No
George ( later told he was the new manager!!!)
“ You can sit outside then”
Even my smile didn’t change George’s mind
Thought they might have a function on later so were keeping the inside free. No
Others were allowed in later without a reservation. I’m not deaf or blind..
    Lesson leant.
    Better dress up..
George was a snob. And couldnt spot a Rolex if he tried. Well, not the one on Johns arm but I guess George was looking at his thongs.😎

My favourite place in Melbourne. Very relaxing walking around the sculpture garden and my children love the climbing tree. I take all our visitors here and have a meal at the cafe if we have time. I love the shop and have bought many things there. In fact my Christmas list is purely gifts from Heide plus an annual membership. One note of warning: Be ware of the snakes, especially if you wander down towards the river.

Museum has average pieces for a good price. Sculpture garden is beautiful, free and large. Don't touch any sculptures outside apart from the box room. A long drive from Melbourne CBD but worth it. Bring a picnic, comfy shoes and a jacket.

A great space architecturally and great place to go if you like modern art and the surrounding gardens, which are full of sculptures. My only qualm is the over the top pretentious and rude staff that we sadly encountered. The ladies at the till at the entrance were however very nice and welcoming. Just a shame the others weren't!

Set in beautiful grounds there are 3 separate galleries so you have a wallk in the fresh air between each.
The exhibitions are always interesting and stimulating. Children are catered for with plenty of varied activities to maintain their interest.
This is one of my favourite galleries.

Very interesting museum with multiple modern art exhibition areas. Good information and exhibits about the history of the Heide Circle. Tremendous book collection at Heide 1, the Farmhouse. Good open areas for picnics or relaxing.

Good if you like modern art, but I thought the tickets cost a bit too much for what there is. The gardens are nice (and free!) - go on a sunny day and take a picnic.

Great place however some of the gallery attendants can be a bit tough. Note keep your ticket close by. Fantastic gallery and garden can make a half day of it. Take a packed lunch plenty of hideaway eating spots. The cafe is ho-hum for the price.

not worth $22. place is a hoax. it should be free or you should be paid to enter. not enough restrooms for the crowds. it's a private money tree. humans are idiots.
