Yeah i was really happy with the customer service for a young man by the name of Jack. He was great in his knowledge about the products. This man is going places.

I used to think they were expensive and my son convinced me to go in there and I now don't go anywhere else. Customer service is awesome and they are happy to give you a better deal. If like me you are sick of being ignored in stores, go to Harvey Norman Frankston they will give you a good deal and great service.

Untidy and a lot of empty shelves. Looks like business is bad. Perhaps they are teetering on the edge of going out of business? Not really sure it is worth going to this place.

Ignored by 3 mid 30's losers discussing video games while i stood there waiting for assistance.
No wonder retail places struggle with useless staff like this1

Went there to buy an item they advertised, eventually tracked down some floor staff, to be told sorry we don't stock that, you'll have to go to Geelong (Waurn Ponds) So we went to Good Guys and got what we wanted and great customer service. We recommend Good Guys Frankston!

Well in not sure how to begin this. I went to HN frankston with every intention of leaving money with them. Josh in audio/visual below par customer service and seemed quite disinterested in being there on a Sunday morning. We were pumped to buy a projector and 65' tv and his scripted dialogue with help from the shelf cards made up his 'service' to us. Every sentence ended with "at the end of the day" and we had a lot of deliberating questions so we heard this a lot!
Josh was not personable and i took some anoyance to him talking to us while he searched answers to out questions on the computer and not looked at us while he have 2 word answers.
Reluctantly we chose to buy 2 of 5 items close to $5k in value from him, as we didnt have the option of another sales person.
So, i dont really want to mark HN so poorly but out experience was marred by rhe salesperson representing the company. My criticism is in hope that better training in customer service is available to staff for the sake of not having sales walk out the door.

Occasionally you'll get a good sales person. However this store pretty much changes sales people very often. Which is really annoying because one day (if your very lucky) would run into a sales person who is more concentrated on customer satisfaction over the sale itself.
They would be nice, friendly, honest, trustworthy, etc.

Other times you'll get people who don't care what your after, and would point you towards the most expensive item. Sometimes it's not even the item your after.
One time I had a sales person who was soo bad, like I ended up questioning how intoxicated were the management team were, when hired the psychopath.
First of all, the dude looked like he climbed out of the prehistoric ages, the dark ages and the Great Depression. Secondly I was after a phone and he was trying to sell me a laptop.
Like honestly how high was the dude? Seriously, I don't know how he thought I can fit a laptop in my pocket.

What a joke this place is. Long story but poor communication and no update on progress of online order over a month late. I cancelled the order and walker straight into JB HiFi who had plenty in stock. If i could give -5 stars i would.

If i could rate or -5 stars i would. On 3 seperate occasions had bad service. The only 3 times i have been to harvey norman. First time i was looking to buy a vaccum cleaner. Tge sales person started out friendly and told her what i was looking for. The response i got was or well if thats the amount you are going to get a crap vaccum. Now this vacuum here is much better for you. The item she tried to sell me was like $700 vacuum. Said no went to jb hifi spent less then i wanted to got a brilliant vacuum. Second time i was looking for a laptop went in to harvey norman. I sort new which laptop i wanted but had a few questions. Well the 2 sells staff just ignored me and started talking to each other. Went to jb hifi who were slightly more expensive but bought the laptop. The third time i went into harvey norman i was looking for a yv and surround sound system. While there were 2 customers in the tv area after about 30 minutes there was still no one to come and c if we needed any help. I put in a complaint to harvey norman probably 3 or 4 months ago and guess what no one has aplogised. No one has even acknowledged my complaint. Now i refuse to use harvey norman. Worse store ever

Recently, I had a very unsatisfactory customer service experience at Harvey Norman.

I purchased a washing machine and it was meant to be delivered on 08/09/16 ( Thursday ). I waited the whole day and no one showed up. I finally rang them at 3.30pm and no one knew about this delivery.

After complaining, The manager offered me $50 Harvey Norman gift card for compensation as a one day’s wage. I told him I have nothing to buy in Harvey Norman, I preferred this $50 as a credit ( back to my credit card ). But the answer was no. I asked him if I take the card and I wanted him to match the current competitive price, unfortunately the answer was no again. There was no any room for negotiation. I ended up receiving a refund.

I was really insulted by the result. I wasted the whole day and no one bothered to let me know what was going on. I can’t believe my value for the day is only worth a $50 Harvey Norman’s gift card!

On the contrary, when I went to the Good Guys in Frankston, I was served by a very friendly, professional Sales Assistant. He was patient and taught me how to use the washing machine. They not only matched the price, but also beat the price. I am very appreciative for the services provided by the Good Guys.
