Interesting gift shop that is worth a look for a special gift for someone.

I went in there looking for a picture frame or something that would remind me of my friend that had just passed away. The women in the shop (the owner) from the start looked at us with judgmental eyes and had obviously made up her opinion about us. I went about looking at gifts picking things up I thought I might like and smelling soaps. I had perfectly clean hands and was really careful and considerate. The women then had a go at me for picking up her items. There were no signs anywhere saying you could not handle the items. They were not breakable and I was being very respectful and putting things back as I found them. She judged me on how I looked. The pricing is on the bottom of the items, how could you even know how much something cost unless you picked it up. She was a rude woman with no respect for customers outside of what she considered her 'type'. There are MANY gift shops in Healesville most with lovely staff, why go to a gift shop where the owner has no respect for her customers? Perhaps she should take all her merchendise back home and make sure the 'wrong' people don't touch it or for heavens sake BUY it!
