There was a booking muck up (not their fault) but the staff have been very accommodating and did everything to sort out. Very kind people who bent over backwards to assist.

Upon arrival the lady at reception was extremly friendly and full of information regarding the local area which was great. Unfortunately the room was grubby the showers looked like they had not been cleaned in months. The manager/owner's repsonse about the showers was not very helpful, he stated "it is due to the calcium in the water" I am sorry but it was not, it was due to not being cleaned, if the calcium is high in the water that is fine but you can at least have glass you can see through for new guests coming in. All crockery and glass had to be washed before we could use it. The rooms have a lot of potential, they are very well layed out but the furniture is in desperate need of an update. They are self contained apartments which is great as you have do not have to worry about a cleaner coming in its just a pity the washing machine sounds like it is about to blow up. The pool it self is good, no kids area which is unfortunate for the little ones, around the pool area there are about 6 sun loungers most of which are all torn. They had also messed up our booking yes they resolved this but can t be that hard to follow an email, they even wrote the wrong dates on the printed out email. We had requested a cot which we got but on the second day management knocked on the door asking if we are using it as they double booked it, they were making a big deal about having to go and purchase another, sorry but this is not our problem we booked it as we need it. Would not return to this resort unless new management and cleaners are hired. Management only care about money and do not care about negative feedback that is a response i got.

The manager is rood and to be honest a despicable person to customers, we booked a top end apartment and were given an unclean ground floor one without enough beds, so I was sleeping on a temporary camp bed. Then the manager tried to charge us for it. With no sight of a full refund.There are many other resorts in the area, I encourage you to stay in those.

I would suggest you check your room before accepting it, the decor and general cleanliness of rooms can be drastically different between them.

We spent time here recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. The apartment was clean, spacious and had comfortable beds. The kitchen and laundry had everything we needed. The pool was absolutely beautiful and the location was spot on - near the supermarket and close enough to the foreshore/lagoon/main street, especially if you have a car (it's a steep but short walk up a hill). Tour operators will pick up from here and the owners can help you select and book.

We stayed here about three weeks ago and totally enjoyed it! The location is perfect! Apartment was great! Clean! Well equipped! Pool area is awesome! Reception was so helpful! Would highly recommend and would stay again! Hope the recent cyclone to the Whitsunday area skipped the Azure Sea Apartments!!!

Perfect location, great value for the money, and reception was incredibly welcoming. We were able to have almost a full day lounging by the pool which was stunning!
