One of the most affordable hostel in Perth. Very convenient and strategically located. Right opposite Perth Busport and Yagan Square.

The worest place to stay. Not only did my bag get stolen from storage with no compensation, but I lost my $20 key deposit for not staying there for 2 months. Abit hard when you work away and live in another state. I will not be staying there again.

I do FIFO. Everytime I hv used Globe, I hv enjoyed my stay and sure will continue to. For starters the hats off to the staff. U guys do an awesome job. Courteous, patient and friendly. Yes Globe does accomodate the homeless and I reckon that's amazing guys. Hv had great chats with them. Got to know a few of them pretty well actually. The amenities are cool and clean. Housekeeping do a great job. Yep to sum it upAwesome staff, friendly guests, clean and cozy rooms and a great nights sleep.

the globe is a feral dump. the bathrooms are shocking. the staff are ill mannered and abusive and i would guess most of them are either still on drugs or recovering bcoz they are nasty *people*. they mistreated myself and others badly when we tried to defend ourselves against threats, violence and abuse, we were threatened with eviction. when i stayed there alot of the guests were drinking alcohol heavily in the courtyard and even falling over drunk in the kitchen and laying there awhile with children and sharp kitchen utensils very near. its a barbaric place half full of drug addicts and alcoholics. the globe is not worth 0.1 of a star but i had to give it 1 to post this truth about the most feral backpacker hostel in perth. i wouldnt recommend the globe to any nice people. its a cesspit and half the people there might be on crack (staff included)

Good price for an almost good hostel, just people in there are really creapy, better take a sharhouse than meet guys selling drugs, saw cops coming twice for them

It's fine for a no frills, cheap stay but you can do better!! Seriously I don't know why with all the tourists and backpackers Australia has so many bad hostels, but this is another one of them. First of all, some of the guests were not tourists but rough-looking Australians (homeless?). It's not that clean. Was not sociable as barely any other tourists or backpackers there. It feels dark and dirty inside. The staff are distant, but they weren't unfriendly., just didn't care. I'm never booking an independent hostel again in Oz, had enough bad experiences at them in less than 2 months here.

I came in this hostel late at night. Politely, I was asked to have a seat for a two minute paper work. Once done, I was accompanied by the latter, who carried my lugguage in the room, wake me up upon my request early morning and arranged for my Taxi. Such a life saver, a giver in his attitude rather than a taker. No better feeling when treated that way. Thank very much ♥♥♥

The place is cheap, clean and would benefit the casual travellers looking for a cheap no thrills, budget accommodation. Staff are very distant, unwelcoming and care little whilst more than happy to take your money. Service is not really extended more than the hand held out to accept the fee for accommodation, time is strictly adhered to, ie you have to be out of here by 10:00 am or pay for an extra day.
Guests can enjoy alcohol if that is their want, the resulting noise is for everyone else to deal with.
Upon booking out, you cease to exist, any baggage has to be off the premises with your sorry ass, unless you want to leave your key deposit, staff really are jaded, uncompromising and care for little else other than the appropriate nightly payment.response / report this review
