Went there for dinner last night and had their signature dish. The mussels were under cooked, some rice was mushy while other grains were as hard as ice, basically raw and very unpleasant. Must have come from 2 different cookers. While tasting the individual pieces of chicken, prawns and chirizo were ok the dishes itself was overwhelming salty to the point of almost not being able to eat it and waking up in the morning parched and needing lots of water. All of this was accompanied by a utensil that had bent and twisted prongs that was more suitable for for picking a lock. No attention to detail, sad, as an out of towner I had heard good things before we visited.

We have had very good experiences with GPO in the past and my friend and I were looking forward to coming for an amazing lunch experience and we were very disappointed with the quality of the food.

We ordered triple cooked chips ($9) which were not cooked all the way through and a garlic and herb flat bread ($13!!!!!) was tasteless.

We informed the waitress and we assumed that she went to tell the chef and apprentice but we didn't recieve any further communication but a glare from a fellow employee.

Been coming here for years now. Loved how things were consistent and great. How here this trip was far from previous experience. Food quality was not as good as before. Service was rough and terrible. Bad communication too, which caused a lot of miscommunication. This just sad, as I loved coming here.
