Great place to stay with kids. Leafy location opposite a park with lots of playground equipment. Roomy, neat apartment - clean and comfortable. Decor a bit dated. Highly recommend the buffet breakfast.

Very comfortable motel in a great location. Rooms are nice with excellent buffet breakfast. They have traditional motel rooms as well as apartments with kitchens and basic cooking facilities. BBQ area out the back is nicely done. Staff friendly too making for a great stay.

Cheap rates and friendly staff make up for our slightly "shabby" looking room. Room is certainly getting on the aged side. Old stains on carpet, marks on walls and slight rips in furniture. Despite all this, room still feels "clean" and is comfortable. $114 per night for our room so I'm still happy enough. Perhaps time for a refurb I think. Would I stay again? Yes it's quite probable. Free parking outside room is very helpful

Had the most delicious snack for dinner not very hungry so ordered Tandoori Chicken and Advocado Wrap with salad. Super choice too big really and the salad was big enough for 2. Couple of glasses of bubbly now bed and a book. Come sample you won't regret it.

Room is comfortable, the bed was comfy and has an electric blanket and a heater :) so good in this cold. The reception ladies were lovely, and it was pretty quiet. A good price especially for the location :) also free parking.

Reasonably nice and tidy place, a little aged but still pretty good. The receptionists were lovely and accommodated our needs of a ground floor apartment and booking taxis.

Blankets need to be thicker. Sheets need to be swapped regularly, got red eye in morning. Never had that before. Nice TV, but should spend some money fixing up the toilet wall accessories. Some broken or falling off. The shower head is too low and needs replacement and there is low water flow. Shouldn't combine hand soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner all in one dispenser. Makes it look a bit cheap and tacky "all in one".

I've actually stayed there before with a friend, and we loved the stay because of the price, the cleaniless/amenities of the rooms and the central location. This time there were four of us and I recommended Forrest Hotel and Apartments and wasn't disappointed. Great location, with privacy, plenty of parking, very little noise, and helpful and friendly staff. The rooms were great, there's all sorts of amenities such as washer/dryer, dishwasher, coffee machine, on top of all the usual amenities of fridge, tea/coffee & kettle, TV and comfy couch. Beds really comfortable, had a good sleep. Would definitely recommend, it's great and very reasonably priced! And free WiFi 🙂

The staff were lovely and my wife quickly made friends with them
Attended Canberra for our Annual Car rally and booked with Forrest Hotel on the recommendation of another club member who not only stayed there in the past, but returned this time as well

We were not disappointed. The Sherwood restaurant serves simple fare but excellent value for money.
Rooms were clean and we enjoyed our week long stay there

Stayed here for a night on our way to Melbourne, got in late around 930, the hotel was very close to restaurants and there was more than a few open which was great. The location was great as we visited the Parliament House which was a short distance. Throom was neat and clean and we had a comfortable night sleep.
