I have been visiting Family Care Medical Centre Mt Waverley for many years. The doctors are very skilled and knowledgeable. The nurses and reception staff are very efficient. Let’s not forget the effective and efficient service from Pathology. Note, I had 3rd degree burns on my thighs and Dr Botros help me regain my confidence with laser treatments to minimise my scaring.
I have the confidence in Family Care Medical Centre Mt Waverley to service my needs as they have for many years.

Best local medical centre in the area. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for general checkups or for anything really. Rita at reception is one of the most efficient reception staff I have ever met, the place wouldn’t run without her!

I have had a number of age related health issues over the past 5 x years in particular and the staff and doctors here have been amazing. Rita in reception has been a Godsend assisting me with Workcover issues and during Covid she was incredibly patient over the phone as were the doctors. I can't recommend the practice enough.

I have been attending Family Care Medical Centre for over 10 year now for myself and my children the doctors are absolutely amazing and very caring Dr Botros and Dr Kiriakova are the doctors I have been going to and both of them are amazing. The reception staff are always very friendly upon walking into clinic and efficient in doing there job. Overall fantastic doctors surgery would not go else where for myself and children highly recommend.

Overall an amazing clinic. dr. Botros has been my doctor for the last 12 year and wouldn't change that for the world. She is very knowledgeable and provides exceptional care!

The doctors are ok but the receptionists in this place is unhelpful and ignorant.
They often hold you on the phone and don't realize the call is on hold. No apology whatsoever. They need to hire better front line people.

Doctors are great, very thorough, yes you may have to wait but that's my relax time away from the kids!

The doctors here are fantastic, but they are just too disorganised. Frequently running over and hour behind, and most recent appointment over 2.5 hours late. Incredibly frustrating when you can hear walk ins being put ahead of people with appointments too.
I've had shorter waits at the hospital.
Will be looking for a new doctor unfortunately.

Dr. Xu is very good. However the waiting time is the killer. Even if you have an appointment, you will still expect to wait for more than 30 mins even if you are in the morning. This is something that this centre to look at seriously.

Very slow, long waiting times. Not even any indication how much longer you will have to wait. In the cold waiting room piano music and annoying Channel 7 TV simultanously!

I saw Dr Fang who is so great at her job and is really funny and relaxed. She is really skilful and made me extremely comfortable during my procedure. The reception staff and nurses are so kind and really lovely to be around. I've been to this practice a couple of times now and will definitely be returning when something is needed. All staff here are fantastic and I would highly recommend this practice to anyone!!

The psychologist Courtney is absolutely amazing & highly recommended. Sometimes the receptionists can be a bit unhelpful- they rarely ask if that's everything before hanging up meaning I've had to phone back up a couple of times. Otherwise good facilities and good location!

Every male doctor here is awesome. I bring my toddler and baby to see any of the male doctors and they go over and above in care and support. I (female) have seen a female doctor here for myself who was useless really. Such a shame. Yes wait times are around 45 min. Fully bulk billed for children and heathcare card holders.
